I love how the whole time before he hears the chick, Luke looks like he’s trying not to smile (the scene starts at 1:22). Like he thinks she just wanted him to come over for.. something... but he’s willing to play along with a “chick” story. It’s so cute and I live for it tbh 😍🤩
Omg I loved this. It must have been hilarious for parents watching this with their pre-teens too. Unlike most examples of this its played subtly enough that no one that young is going to get it even adults will miss it. But its clearly not just supposed to be "she calls him because she like him(but haha its actually a real chick)" its she calls him and acts the whole time like this is "something".
Cómo no va sonreír de ese modo,si en su cerebro piensa que "lorelai" lo llamo con mentiras, solo para tener algo más íntimo...ya después ve la realidad.
Lorelai looks so happy as she's walking into the house, before she sees the chick gone, has she been smiling like that ever since she walked out of Luke's?? SO CUTE!!
Luke proved he had feelings for Lorelai and wanted to be more then friends Luke clearly thinks the chick was a story that Lorelai made up to get him to come over. Sookie confirmed that. So that means Luke came over expecting something to maybe happen between him and Lorelai and when it really was about a chick stayed to help.
Wait... There's the front door and the back door (one in the kitchen). And Luke came in by the door on the living roo.... Lorelai's house has a third entrance?
"lorelai" entro tan feliz a su casa, pero al ver que no estaba el pollito...de inmediato llamo a "luke", talvez de modo inocente, pero inconscientemente quería seguir con él, quién al recibir su llamada, dejo volar su imaginación al límite (cualquiera lo haría),y fue rápidamente a buscarla,y ella lo hace entrar de un jalón,"Luke" estaba feliz, hasta que vio la realidad de las cosas.
Lol they might as well be having sex in this scene. I actually kind of like how they did, keeping them from dating. They play it exactly like they would if they were actually dating but just are not explicit. Like on their painting "date" they "have ther first kiss" and in this scene "lorelai makes an excuse so they can have sex" at least if you compared it to a sitcom norm. The set ups match perfectly. But Gilmore girls plays the whole thing with them not even dating at all. But i guess thats the dream right. The dream that dating is not some social formality but just people hanging out who are attracted to one anther.
The way she pulled him inside the house!!

Luke and Lorelai's chemistry has been so awesome since episode 1!! They had to be end game since the very beginning ❤
"You really have a chick loose in here"
No Luke, she just wanted to see you
She is grabbing all over him, alot of confusing signals for him.
They're too cute together, feel super comfortable with each other which is exactly how you have to feel with the right person....
STELLAAAAAAAAAAAA
