Try to force yourself to go through all the train cars and match them with their boxes. Model Railroaders can be sticklers for the details. Great video and awesome finds! Thanks you two! Lisa
You made that couples day at the train/hat yard sale. They hadn't had much traffic and then one buyer arrive after noon and spends over $100 and takes a good chunk of what would have been leftovers. Love it!
RE: Accessories. Some vintage accessories for train scapes (I just made that word up) sell for decent money. Examples are miniature metal people and foam tunnels.
I love your program I'm a elderly lady that has to stay in bed most of the time and I started watching your videos not too long ago and now I am hooked but I would like to tell you there is no such word as Cos TAD you say it a lot it's cost that's it plain and simple but it doesn't matter I think I watched all of your videos but I love them thanks for the entertainment
I cannot believe she gave you the Bose stereo set for $50!! Holy moly! ( : Holy moly all those H.O. trains for Only $100! What a find! ( : I love you told him, I might buy your entire yard sale! Funny thing is, you were serious! Lol! ( ; There were 100 trains or accessories for trains?!! Wow! That is amazing! ( : Fantastic shopping trip! I wish every yard sale was like this for you too! ( : Sooo fun and love to see you guys finding such great items! ( :
Definitely get a vicarious thrill about all you have found and the great deals. I used to sell toys and dolls on the resale market. I'd have dreams about finding boxes and boxes of great deals, so your title really hit home. You and Kayla keep having fun. :)
Loved this video a lot, Julian. I'm a Bose guy _and_ a scale model train guy ... wish I had been at those sales with you, I would-a outbid ya, LoL. When you talk about retiring, consider this. I did retire from a good US government job many years ago (I'm 77 now). My wife and I moved to Florida and live off our retirement pensions ... the American dream, right? Wrong. Inflation creeps up on everyone, young or old, and life with no job and nothing to do (I can't stand golf) is _boring_. So we started reselling on eBay just ninety days ago and we are already making decent money ... but the money is secondary. We have so many interesting yard sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores to go to that every day is an adventure! Don't be in too much of. a hurry to retire ... reselling can keep ya young. All the best to you from Florida and Sell On!
@@denisejones1863 So true, Denise, so true. I often feel sad when I watch youtube with just one spouse working hard at reselling while the other spouse is virtually never seen or mentioned. Working together feels so good ... taking 15 weekend sales to the PO together brings such a good, shared feeling, and even the disagreements are fun, LoL. (well, sometimes that is)
Kayla and I were kinda talking about that for retirement and definitely are enjoying are time we work together and also always kinda doing this as long as we can.
@@beardedthriftmachine Yeah, I don't mean to sound like I am trying to sentence everyone to a lifetime of exhausting labor ... everyone deserves some relief from pressure and hard work when they have "done their time", but as an old man in a retirement area, I see so many unhappy couples with nothing to do who are bored and therefore irritable, and so many old men who have nothing except golf (if they still have the capacity) and getting angry about politics. Reselling (at the right level) can be a very rewarding "marital therapy" in my book at least, and you don't need an expensive medical degree to practice it. Sell On!
You inspired me with the Bose before. So I found a Bose Wave at the Goodwill for $15. Came home put a cd in and woah! That was great sound! Husband and I decided to keep it in the eBay room! I’ll sell the next one!
Golly sometimes I just get so excited I have to go outside and run around the house. We love seeing you guys do good. I was right with you on the hats, questioned a few you left til you explained why you left them. Cause you've kinda got me checking things out and if there's no work, easy to ship has really put my shipping over the top. Your advice and Kaylas reactions is why I've never missed a video. Thank you so much, for your understanding and patience, Kayla & Julian from Kansas
Awesome video, love watching you guys. I saw one video where you had no room to slam your hand down, it made me sad. Appreciate your moving by the 🚢 for room. Take care
If you ever run across an H O engine with the KTM brand they can be worth thousands.I know nothing about train sets I was looking for some KTM motorcycle parts and some of the trains popped up.
Such an amazing score on the trains and the hats as well. I am enjoying watching you two on all of your treasure hunting and selling adventures. Keep up the amazing videos and have a very blessed week. Hopefully, you have some awesome sales this week too!
It's so fun selling at yard sales!. You still make profit and it all adds up. In the end that's the fun part for me anyway LOL. PS. The big sales are the icing on the cake LATER.
You made me laugh at the breakdown...cause I told my husband that you were probably going to keep those speakers or sell them on marketplace when in the video you bought them...lol
This was a great! Really enjoyed your finds especially at that time of day. Some times going at that time of the day is when you get the best prices, but it’s a risky, but it paid off your you on this one.👏👏👏 mx
At least hook the Bose speakers up before you sell 'em...pretty sure you'll keep them. 🙂 Some Bose are eligible for a trade-in on new ones with the company (or were a few years ago - I sent in my old college 901's that had blown the foam for a new set several years ago for about $300...) Good scores!
I've watched quite a few of your videos and have a question. Do you keep your wallet in your back pocket or elsewhere? All that cash in there would hurt my ass hurt if I sat on it. Personally I keep my money in my front pocket and use my wallet primarily for identification and credit cards.
Whoa... whoa... we didn't get to see Kalya's expression on the stereo stuff. We just know she grab one and was headed out to make room in the car. Hhmmm
HO trains are hit or miss. Tyco box cars are the lowest in terms of grade, if you can get them real cheap pull the trigger but it's buyer beware. Buildings and cars that can be assembled like model kits are a little higher quality and in some cases desirable. If the cars are solid metal then you are in the Antique area of HO but people seem to believe they are worth thousands and they aren't. It's sometimes very hard not to find them all rusted out. N Scale trains are where the money is, Lionel are always over priced and not worth it.
I have watched your videos for a very long time. But I am sorry unless you get a tissue or get over your you're cold or allergy I can't watch the constant snuffling of of your nose. It makes my skin crawl. Sorry but I thought you should know.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!

Fantastic finds! Wowee! ( :
nice
Doing great guys. Keep up the entertainment and education.
You made that couples day at the train/hat yard sale. They hadn't had much traffic and then one buyer arrive after noon and spends over $100 and takes a good chunk of what would have been leftovers. Love it!
I love finding those Bose cables at thrift stores, they have no idea.
Do they have special markings on the Bose wiring connections?
ill have to start looking harder there - ill be looking for that cord.

yea i went through and i have metal horses and little jeeps that were more then i thought

When I saw the trains, I said,” here we go again!”😂 great sales!

Good deal on the trains. The Aethern brand is one of the best, with Atlas close behind. Then Bachman and Tyco. I think $1000 is low!
Yea couldn’t pass up those deals squirrel gets there nuts sometimes easy to ship and store Christmas is coming
easy sellers - =) sold one for $24 most expensive one so far
Love the birds singing
Love the train cars and accessories pickup. Hope you do well with them and they sell well for you.
