Steve is a wonderful composer. His early experiments were very influential in my foray into minimalism a half century ago. Some of his pieces work better than others. You be the judge. He must have been thrilled to have these wonderful musicians devote a whole concert to his music.

I agree. Reich's music is not as easy as some may think. Also the playing of some parts sounded like musicians do not really get it and just act robotically without giving the good vibes (Don't know how it sounded from within the concert hall -- if it was similar to what we hear, I guess SR may have been uncomfortable sometimes.)
I have looking for the Four Sections video ages. So happy to see it again.....Thank you very much Altea Media.....
