Just bought a 2004 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer about a month ago and drove it on the test drive before buying and was like this guy amazed at how great the two engines worked together and pushed the boat through the water. I moved up from a 1998 240 Sundancer 5.0 single engine for more cabin room but worried that the extra weight would slow the boat down and not be as responsive but that was not the case. I too was amazed at the room you have around the engines to work on the 280 compared to my 240. I been reading about the smart gauges and what I am reading they are top of the line instruments.
