This guy was a quarterback in high school! Played against him and he was hell on wheels playing that too!! Florida placed him at linebacker and boy!!!that was the best thing they could've done!! He was a beast along with Rutledge and kearse!!

Mike Pete might have been best LB we ever had, should've been a bit higher I think. He did benefit from having two monsters Henderson and Stroud in front of him for most of his time with the Jags. He exemplified the nasty attitude of that defense for many years

As a Falcons fan, got much love for that guy. We got him at the end of his career, but he was a great leader for the Falcons. The team loved him, especially the young LB’s.

He should be top 10, could easily be their best LB ever, what a shame. He mentored a lot of the Jags future great LBs, but he was their stud in the middle. He was a problem for teams when he was with the Colts and turned it up even more with the Jags. Did people forget you couldnt run the ball on the Jags? no not only because their big cogs, but Mike Pete sideline to sideline.Shameful ranking, damn shameful. Hall of Famer forsure and I'm a Broncos guy
