The Sound are such a criminally underrated post punk band. From the Lions Mouth is absolutely worth a full listen
The Sound are my favorite band of all time. Imo they are one of the most compelling and lyrically honest post-punk bands to date. I strongly urge you to have a full reaction to “From the Lion’s Mouth.” It hits me the same way Closer does, but dials up the bleakness
The Sound is brilliant. There is soo much good content there. All of their albums are insane. Don't let this guy or anyone else underplay their significance. Good play and well done sir/madam whoever threw that one out there! I randomly ran across your post of this awesome song. Good Job!! p.s. to Alex - The Sound warrants more of your time & consideration I think. They are hugely significant in the history of post-punk and absolute pioneers from the origins. A ton of content from them that affected the entire scene and up to today & beyond. Don't fail yourself buddy
The Sound are a superb band. In my top 3 all time. You should definitely check them out. Their first 3 albums are very dark, their latter 3 are still dark but more Curesque and poppy. The mini album Shock of Daylight along with From The Lions Mouth are their finest moments. Their entire discography ranges from very solid to great.

The sound, chameleons, and killing joke are all superb 80’s British bands. Shock of daylight was their best record I think
I only discovered the sound in the last few years but this album is a post punk classic

ma forse dovresti entrare nell'atmosfera degli anni 80 per capire a fondo questo genere di musica e un consiglio che ti do sui the sound di ascoltare tutti gli album ti assicuro che c'e altro rispetto a questo album jopardi per esempio
miglior gruppo post punk anni 80 li ho visti dal vivo fantastici peccato per borland morto suicida li c'e la mia vita
