- A banquet held by Just Stop Oil (JSO) protesters has been disrupted by practical jokers with alarms and helium balloons.
RUclips pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners arranged for someone to infiltrate the protest group posing as an activist concerned about climate change.
Archie says: "It's not achieving anything and to infiltrate their ranks we had a mole following them around for a day."

Top Tip: Identify the Protestors, list their names and address so people can disrupt their lives! Knowing their names and addresses can allow you to sue for those who miss important events.

And I do share the view that the climate change issue needs to be made our primary political concern, which doesn't mean I agree with all of what JSO is doing. On the other point, if you think directly physically harming people for a prank and causing disruption to their lives is the same then it's no point discussing any further.
And watching them climb a ladder that was no where near tall enough to try and get the balloons down was hilarious.

Apart from this prank being genuinely amusing without causing harm to anyone, it also carries a significant message. It's crucial to combat climate change, but our efforts won't yield much if people get annoyed as soon as they hear about this issue. The reality is, that "just stop oil is actively hurting this planet by making this topic so unbearable.
You can stop climate change as easy as you can stop a volcano erupting or an earthquake happening. It takes some ego to contemplate trying to stop mother nature.
There is no climate "emergency" as it is all based on models that predict the very worse possible outcome.
Be nice to the planet etc but destroying peoples lives is not the answer.
… always follow the money.

Humans have lived through absent rivers and burning heat well before oil and gas.
They adapted to live in it, they didn't try to manipulate a massive, natural process. Just as we can adapt to our climate today.
Even if the oceans rose metres, we would adapt (like we do when reclaiming any land below sea level).

If you get stuck in a just stop oil protest, put your car in neutral and rev the engine real loud.
Then claim "engine problems" -- clearing a blockage in the fuel line, when the police come about whinging, they'll see through it, but worth a crack.😁
If there’s room, it would be funny do back up your car where they are sitting so the exhaust pipe is aimed right at them and then rev the engine. Would be impractical but a guy can dream.

How many unnecessarily died in ambulances or the ambulance didn’t arrive in time. Cops should gets buckets of paint on them. Same for the camera men recording it all.

Just stop oil is accomplishing one thing... they are causing thousands of vehicles to needlessly idle, consuming fuels and oil while just sitting there. They are actually creating a situation where they are increasing consumption of the very thing they are trying to stop.

It is not a National annoyance. It is an International curse. In Sweden the day before yesterday, Greta Tunberg was sentenced in the district court to daily fines for not obeying the police not to stop oil transport. 4 hours after the trial, she sat again and blocked oil transport.
