That’s why it’s called finger style
You can hear it because he is playing the melody line. If he would have just played chords instead of fingerstyle you wouldn't be able to hear the lyrics.

I really like your work up here, you're amazing creating this fingerstyle covers, very accurate. And honestly you were one of my firsts reasons of learning this style, because you uploaded the tabs i could continue practicing. Obviously, thank your for that, and since a lot of time i haven't seen some tabs, so i hear the covers and every time i keep thinking about how to play them. Now, after a year or two, i've started making my own covers, so i suppose i have to say thanks 🙂

Hey Neil! I paid for the licensing of the song to be published on Spotify. For tabs it's a bit more of a struggle to get the proper licensing. But, slowly but surely there's progress ;)

I absolutely loved your rendition of this on the guitar. My only criticism is that the background beat was in my opinion uncessary and distracted from the overall beauty that was this composition. If anything I wish I was softer as it was louder and almost too sharp if that makes sense. Overall great work!
