It is so great getting all of the new videos. Your fans know you where busy with the show but we really do love your content. You should have way more subscribers.
I'm finally feeling back to normal after the ripple the show created in my schedule. Also, I kinda like flying below the radar, when people get too big they seem to always get a bit corporate and I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible.
No joke, I've been thinning blue paint to try and create a decent blue wood stain. I had no idea Minwax made custom color stain, that is awesome! This is exactly what I needed.
I wasnt a fan of the blue at first glance but the finished product looked a lot better than I was expecting Im always a fan of home renovation projects. Keep em coming.
i love it when you show up to help yourself, I always think man I wish I had a guy like that around :) seems like he always disappears when it's time to sand though lol.
Hola! 🖐Really great project. I heard shiplap and thought "what's the big deal". Then when you milled it yourself, mitigated the fact that the space is "all out of whack", and created a "scene" with that color scheme, WOW! Just WOW! 👏Looking forward to the next installment. Take care and have a good one, Adios!👊
BEAUTIFUL, wow, I love it so much. You are so talented and funny. Thank you for sharing. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family. 😃 All the best. ❤️
I haven't used paste wax as part of my finishing process in the past, but I will definitely give this a try on one of my next ones. The project turned out beautifully, Paul. Old houses are fun to renovate; that was our first home and, to your point, nothing is straight, flat, etc.
It's one of my favorite finishing techniques, super simple and no drips or anything like that to worry about, plus it just feels nice too. It's perfect for anything that's not going to take too much of a beating.
Way to go and hit it while the iron is still hot a day after Maker Camp! Loved the way you “engineered” the color transition! What’s that you say, it was your wife’s idea, sorry 😕
I appreciate all the work you put into stuff! Nice walls :) Great project and it really worked out, love the colour gradient, really does remind me of a beach which makes me think of campfires on the beach since it's above a fireplace. Can't wait to see what you do to the rest of the house/barn!
Really cool project, probably not straight forward but this made it look easy. I wouldn't''t like the blue tint myself....but I'd like to see more shots of the finish project at the end!
I for one appreciate all your work for us. I always know that if it's a Minwax sponsored video project by Jackman, it's going to involve interesting use of color. I really need to try these stains out sometime. I normally despise shiplap, but in this case, I'll allow it, since it actually looks like a finished thing and not just a bare wall. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!! All the dull shiplap makes me yawn, I felt like there was a way to make it boring without it being tacky, that was my challenge for myself on this one at least.
Just found your channel. I loved the creativity of the project. However, there is almost no footage of the end product! It needs some cool lighting in the room too. Beautiful work!
I appreciate the things you do tremendously .. just hard to keep it in mind in the long intervals between videos ... maybe you need to do more videos - of great quality like always .. but more.
Holy guacamole! I wasn’t sure I agreed with your idea at the beginning. Yet the end result is proof I should never doubt you. And is it me or is something different about the walls behind your talking head shot?

I clicked on this because of the Jackman on a Shelf thumbnail, and now that's all I want for Christmas. 🤠❤⚒🔥

I still don't know why I did that in the edit, but it made me chuckle

Dude, that color gradient was a great idea that you executed well!
Nice makeover. Simple, elegant and a great conversation piece.
Really cool effect and impressive gradual transition between the two colors... It looks pretty awesome!

Custom milled trimwork is always so time consuming but also always worth it :)
@@JackmanWorks agree! 🤩

I love the hammer trick for squishing the miters together. I've started doing that on my stuff. Great trick!
I love it!
F ing awesome. The idea to grade finish down per board is brilliant
Did anyone actually doubt that this wouldn't like great? I know I didn't another GREAT one and LOVE the color gradient
Honestly I was at least a little skeptical haha turned out how I had hoped though!
Awesome idea with "home made plywood". Took in mind.

Nice work! Love seeing the colorful side of your work. Always interesting to see what creative solutions you come up with.
It's always a careful balance of adding a pop of color without making it tacky. I'll let you be the judge, but I think I did it :)
Looks great!
That came out sooo stunning! The colors are beautiful together, and made it totally look like a beach/sunset!
Awesome!! Glad you could see it too :)
