Exactly. Lyrics, songs and production is easily one of the best albums. The fact Noel took a risk to do something different, he's criticised for doing the same thing all the time, then criticised for changing. You can't make some pricks happy lol. The fact is he's easily the best song writer of the last 30 yrs.

Thank you for making this I am very new (couple weeks) into the fandom and I’m freaking obsessed. I’ve only listened to four albums (definitely maybe, morning glory, be here now and heathen chemistry) and I’ve been exploring a lot of music in general so I am a bit busy. But I absolutely plan to check out the rest of their work as well as the Gallaghers’ projects

Definitely maybe is pretty good I’m sorry about the trendy pick xD but it’s going to grow on me I can predict my listening habits. I wasn’t impressed with the white album at first and now it’s my favorite. So there.
Morning glory is freaking amazing
Be here now is quite good
Heathen chemistry is ok

I've got a bit of a different view. Particularly on SOTSOG as I absolutely love that album, it's so experimental.

I agree with your No. 1 and No. 2 choices, both excellent albums. After the disappointment of Be Here Now I more or less gave up on them (although I do love The Hindu Times) as I felt they were treading water a bit. Anyway, good video, I enjoyed it!
I think with a couple of guitars taken out. The songs shortened and liam turned up a bit. The album would of had the potential to back up the first two amazingly. I mean listen to them perform the songs live shortened and less cluttered. fantastic It's sad really.
You should listen to Dig Out Your Soul. I think it’s really underrated and I believe it was the only album which came close to the level of their older albums
Good Ranking. I haven´t listened Gallagher Brothers Solo Projects (Maybe it was a mistake because you ranked Noel´s albums high) When Oasis broke, I lost my intererest in future solo projects. My OASIS studio albums ranking:

Great video James, would love to see an in depth review on Definitely Maybe or Be here Now, As a die hard i maybe would of placed Be Here Now Second as i feel a lot of Morning Glory was comercialised and the deeper cuts are the standouts like Cast No Shadow and Champagne Supernova, but still a classic album. Would of maybe placed Dig out Your Soul a tad higher. Anyway great video take care mate.
I think “the master plan” is severely underrated, but it’s shoved in the bin next to “be here now” which did kill it.
It just lacks umph. It’s like “black star” by David Bowie, just lacks the one instrument or uneven sound to make it truly classic. Imagine if “Dark side of the Moon” didn’t have that gospel sound in the songs, it wouldn’t be nearly as iconic.
Am polar opposite, sotsog is absolutely class! Probably in my top 3 best albums, love there more matured sound and Liams evolving rough tone of the 2000s having it that low and behind dig up your soul is criminal

Don't really like Be Here Now, really only like DGA, SBM and MBM. Heathen Chemistry BOADC, SB, THT, SCYHO. Dig Out Your Soul, I like the first half, except for High Heel Horse (fucking awful track) and Soldier On. Don't Believe The Truth, pretty much like all the album, although some songs, they aren't neither bad neither great. Standing On The Shoulder of Giants, absolutely love every fuckin track except for Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is and I Can See A Liar. Adding Let's All Make Believe turns it from a good record to an amazing one. Love every track except Roll With It from the first two, absolutely fucking godlike genius brilliant albums.

@@rockboy680 it's a great album, but not quite classic, if noel stripped it back like he did with the rework of DYKWIM in 2016 than it has the potentia, otherwise the tracks are way too bloated and go on for far too long.

Controversial opinion but my favourite album by Oasis is Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, simply because it’s the first album I’ve ever heard, mum was a massive oasis fan and I was born the year before it came out
Not my favourite but I definitely prefer it over HC, DBTT and BHN
For me..i've got to disagree on Don't Believe the Truth. I remember buying this at the time on the strength of listening to Lyla which i think was a great single...however for me the rest of the album was pretty boring... and i know people will say ..but what about " The Importance of Being Idle ?'..yeah okay that's a good tune but if you compare it to a song like " The Shock of the Lightning" which by the way you didn't even mention on the "Dig Out Your Soul" album it's pretty boring. For me if I had to choose those 2 songs from "Don't Believe the Truth" or 2 songs from " Heathen Chemistry" then "The Hindu Times and Stop Crying Your Heart Out " for me win hands down every time. Much, Much better tunes.

IMO you can't put one of their solo albums above Oasis's albums
