As a Braves fan, you guys are making my boys blow up anything that isn't the core of the team. I have to hand it to you, the Phillies have one hell of a team. I enjoy the playoff matchups with Atlanta/Philadelphia because I know it's not going to be a cakewalk and each game is something that fans from both sides can look forward to. I just wish that the playoff format can benefit the best team, not the hottest team (like Arizona). I just don't think an 84-win team should have a shot at the postseason, unless they get lucky and finish 1st in a bad division. Oh well, good luck next year, you guys. Looking forward to continuing the rivalry.

I flew back home to see the first home game this year with my dad. When we were on our way to our seats, I saw the Philly captain, said “hi” briefly and the we continued on our ways. I remember explaining to my dad who that was I said hi to. What a great way to start the season. So sad it had to end this way, but it’s always a great run. Thanks Philly Captain for these videos as they are always a little piece of home. 💯⚾️

This was the most frustrating playoff loss that I've ever witnessed. Unfortunately, the lack of line-up changes gave Arizona the blue print to the Phillies when the bats started going cold. Can't win if you're not willing to make changes. This series loss is all on Rob with his bullpen decisions and his stubbornness to change the line-up. Tough series to lose at home. It wasn't too surprising with the way Rob was coaching. Heartbreaking for all the fans and the owner. The bats didn't show up down the stretch when it counted and changes were never made to help fix it. It was a great season but being so close and losing that way at home just doesn't feel like it really happened as fast as it did the past two games.

That's AZ sports fans in general, unfortunately. So many people here are fans of other teams first, but will root for the local teams when they're doing well. Hell, even the Suns had a hard time drawing a crowd just a few years back when they were terrible, I would get offered free tickets all the time.

I thought the Phillies were going to win the world series this year at the start of the playoffs since their season was so similar to last year. I am sure this hurts more since the entite country outside of Arizona expected the Phillies to win. I am sure this hurts like I remember the Cards losing the 1985 world series to the Royals when they fell apart in the world series after an incorrect call by umpire Don Denkinger at first base in game 6. Karma can be a bitch sometimes with a we won’t lose attitude, mocking the opposing team as they warm up / practice pitching. Saying they stink. The city prematurely setting up victory parade fencing. When the oh so arrogant Phillies fans were saying horrible things to the Braves gloating that they lost, I made the comment saying "so what? The Phillies ain't going to the World Series" and sho' nuff they ain't. So just like the Braves "winning" season was all for naught, the same thing applies to da Phillies. All that post season winning only to be beat in the last 2 games at home. Go D-backs or Rangers. May the BEST team win!!!

it took everything in me to actually want to watch this vlog man. what a depressing way to go out. we were so hot, but i get it, every team eventually goes cold, it just sucks it was at the end of the series.

That's AZ sports fans in general, unfortunately. So many people here are fans of other teams first, but will root for the local teams when they're doing well. Hell, even the Suns had a hard time drawing a crowd just a few years back when they were terrible, I would get offered free tickets all the time.

i enjoyed seeing your interaction with the crowd during the game and how you stayed upbeat at the end. I thought the Phillies were going to win the world series this year at the start of the playoffs since their season was so similar to last year. I am sure this hurts more since the entite country outside of Arizona expected the Phillies to win. I am sure this hurts like I remember the Cards losing the 1985 world series to the Royals when they fell apart in the world series after an incorrect call by umpire Don Denkinger at first base in game 6. It was like the team collapsed after that call. Long time Cards fan

Karma can be a bitch sometimes with a we won’t lose attitude, mocking the opposing team as they warm up / practice pitching. Saying they stink. The city prematurely setting up victory parade fencing. It sucks to lose. Even Todd was so sure when Braves were knocked out that Diamondbacks Phillies series would be over quick and easy as no one even knew any of their players.

As a D back fan i can somewhat sympathize with you but we have no super bowl wins or stanley cup championship or nba trophies so you'll just have to get over it and be happy with what you do have. I love you phillies fans because your real fans and we dont have that here but we do have a great winter to make up for it lol.
