Camp Morton Manitoba | Gimli Manitoba | Summer in Canada

CAMP MORTON (about an hour & a half drive north of Winnipeg) was developed by Monsignor Thomas W. Morton in 1920 as a summer camp for Roman Catholic children.
GIMLI (just a 9min drive south of Camp Morton) is a community where the first European settlers were Icelanders who were part of the New Iceland settlement in Manitoba.
GIMLI in Norse mythology is known as the most beautiful place in the after life, where only the worthy will be transported after death.
