awesome video man
"You have to match his baldness" 😂😂👊👊
Bwahahaha😂
Battle of the bald-ies.
The thing that I've come to realize about Arne Slot is that he is very cerebral in his approach to the entire league and season.... bear with me here for a second and I will explain....
Slot in his first interview, and subsequent others, he stated that he borrowed from Guardiola and Klopp to develop his system, that my friends, had to play in Guardiola's head. Just like in chess, Slot successfully positioned himself in the center of the board, and Pep didn't know what his next move was.. Pep, hearing Slot say that he studied his coaching tactics, is already a negative on Pep because he knows Slot knows the weaknesses of his tactical approach......coercive manipulation. In this game against Liverpool this past weekend, Pep didn't have a plan, and the overthinker he was, he missed the obvious plan of starting wingers who would control possession at the least. It didn't help him (or any of the other teams) that Slot hasn't played the same system consistently, week on week out, even worse he is able to change the system, even player personnel, such as playing Diaz as a central striker... so Pep didn't know what to prepare for, unlike he might have against Klopp. When I saw the lineups at the start of the game, I already knew that Liverpool were going to win the game... it was complete domination of the midfield, and City's backline is weak, and teams can put them on their ass with pace.
The fact that Slot is able to get a tune out of these players, with different preparations based on the opponent, and is also able to make minor and major tweaks in-game, and the players can execute the plan to perfection is the scariest thing I have ever seen, and the whole league should be utterly scared, because this man is here to win everything - please just wait until he gets players that he feels he needs. It also won't be players like the £100 - 150M players it would be mid-value players who may not be flashy, but they will possess excellent technique and high footballing IQ. His system, and consisency in coaching, tweaking minor things during the game bores well to longevity and sustainability... I honestly don't fear losing our most important players as I think that the coach in this team is the most important cog of it, whoever comes in as a replacement might be the one to take us even higher.
Best description of Slot I have seen so far mate, and I've been reading YT comments about him incessantly for the last few weeks. Well done.
During his spell at Feyenoord he had to deal with losing his key players twice in the midst of it all and still came out on top. Now that he's at the wheel of a top club with a very low turnover of players, this all coming together might just become the perfect storm.
The opposition should be afraid, very afraid.
@superphil6115 first time I heard about Arne Slot and I saw how bald he was I knew we had an evil genius on the rise. You put it perfectly, he’s dangerously observant and doesn’t underestimate any team or tactic bc he knows what coach is behind what players. He doesn’t get cocky and complacent and picks the best plan to wear out teams (possession and goalscoring just overall domination of the midfield). He makes teams feel like they can do nothing bc he’s already prepared for what they got anyway. His versatility is honestly magnificent and his players make it shine.
Liverpool attacks like klop and defends like Mourinho.
So they're best.
No. Klopp liked to push forward at all times, forgetting the defense. Mourinho always looks at defense and denies the strenght of his forwards. Arne Slot is capable of combining both ideas to applied to his team. He's an genius
This season Liverpool has been the best so far. Top of the CL, PL, dominated Man City, Leverkusen, Madrid and Chelsea so so casually. They've only dropped 5 points across all comps and in every game they've played this season they've either had more xG than their opponents, if not they had same no. of big chances. They play beautiful football, they've not been dominated by any team.
Wrong for Chelsea, they put up a decent fight!
Klopp and slot have same profile Reason why many of our players fit in slot machine system. It's just we don't do heavy metal football when we win the ball too much
Actually Pep Guardiola copied Johan Cruyff... Pep has always said that Cruyff built the cathedral. And Arne Slot being a Dutchman is not copying Guardola but simply playing the typical Dutch style of football he grew up with. Just like Guardiola grew up with Dutch style football under Cruyff.
yep both were very much inspired by Cruyff's philosophies
Ferguson was at utd 24 years if I'm not wrong obviously, he spent a lot of money.
Yess he was there for a very long time and achieved unbelievable things with them but ever since he left Manchester United have been in shambles and it doesn't help that the owner don't really have a clue, I'm a big liverpool fan but united haven't been the dominator like they used to be ..
Everyone now says liverpool had the best defence, best backup goalie, best attack etc when Slot took over, yet did not have us as title contenders before the season kicked off. Stop talking rubbish now, please, because you weren't saying anything good about us before.
@@kbs3631 you don’t know anything about me or my channel. I’ve been a long time advocate of VVD, Salah and Trent being the very best in their position. This same squad was in the title race till the last few weeks of the season last year. Nobody is downplaying what slot did. The players are objectively and factually the very best in their position. Hope this helped
Arne Slot is psychological a beast. He's capable of managing his players but also strenghtend them, making them better. He has his own perception on the game, inspired by other managers. But the rejuvalation is not simple copying other managers. It is a total new way of accepting what the current situation is, and then make your own adaptions to change the team. So the ideas from other managers are adapted but changed by Arne. And let be honest: Klopp made the base, Arne is tweaking.
2:36 "besides the fact that they are both being managed by 2 eggHeads" 😂😂
When you talk about sir Alex spending most in premier league history you also have to take into account he was there for 27 years ,21 years in premier league era to be exact
U also have to take in consideration of inflation. No ffp rules were to stop him at that time too that is another reason behind his success
The only thing Arne and Pep have in common is fuck all hair on their heads other than that they are different in so many ways
@@SunnyBoy_96 that was all mentioned if you bothered to watch the video. I just outlined how Slot was inspired that all, nobody said they’re identical. Even the title is an open ended question, not a statement.
@pedtalkssports mate I'm only having a laugh I have been watching your videos for the last 3 days in a row and I do gotta say you are doing a top notch job well informed and absolutely great at explaining
No mention of de Zerbi? He used to follow him religiously when he was a Brighton, something he said many times.
pep was a "child"of johan cruyff, i know its boring for the football world cuz often cruyff name is called but its true
😂An era can come to an end
With the warchest of massive spending pep is definetely one of best manager bt without the spending i dont know where he stands
5:28 "You have to match his baldness" 💀
Na their mentality is the same if theirs one person that copies it’s arteta. He copies pep and klopp
klop didnt had best players , and he made big succeses with them later he made good players best...
Thats wat Cruijff say. i have never see a bag of monny see win a game
@6:20 PEP DOES MAKE GOOD TEAMS GREAT, BUT IS ALSO CHEQUE BOOK MANAGER. WHEN HE TOOK OVER BARCA AND BAYERN, THEY WERE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS. FERGUSON SPENT WHEN HE GOT TO THE TOP. BUSBY RESTORED AFTER MUNICH. SHANKLY, BROUGHT A 2ND DIVISION LFC UP. PEP'S GREAT .... BUT GOAT?....... DEBATABLE
"Record breaking bayern team" what records did he break there exactly he underperformed compared to every other manager in the last decade
he literally won the league in record time lol how about doing some research or actually improving your listening comprehension
12 mins of total waffle.
"taken those ideas and made them uniquely his own"....wtf does that even translate as?!
its literally his own words LMAOOO. He took the principles of Pep (triangle passing, posession to keep control, high press_) then mixed it in with his own ideas. I have direct quotes from Slot himself stating this yet "Eric Smith" says it waffle. Brother just say you have no comprehension ability and move on, you have room temperautre IQ
Football iq: xavi & pirlo enter the chat and goes silent 🤐
1:53 messi 🐐
its a known fact ppl from holland know the game the best
PEP IS THE GREATEST MANAGER OF ALL TIME
Not even close, he has only ever managed teams with the best players in the world. Prime Barça, bayern won the sextuple the season before he arrived, so he made them worse technically, and an oil club?? He’s worse than Ferguson, Klopp, Cruyff, Zidane, Ancelotti, and these are only recent coaches. Imagine how many coaches from the 1890’s and forward that We have forgotten that are better than Guardiola
@@AronFritschcruyff is not even close to being as good of a manager as pep, the rest I agree with
Bob paisley is far better than him
200%. The most consistently winning manager of all time.
4 PL titles in a row.
3 UCLs.
And what's better, 74% win rate.
Barca's peak was 2009-2012 , why don'tyou add their failures😂😂😂😂
this comment literally makes no sense lol Pep wasn't there for their failures. you are not very bright :(
Every tactic in the world is not pep guardiola dude
you either didnt watch the video or have 0 comprehension skills. In Slot's own words he was inspired by Pep, alot of his tactics are literally from watching Pep's teams.
@@pedtalkssports im sorry but arnes liverpool play like nothing like a pep team . they dont pass side to side , they dont play tiki taka in their own box . they hit the ball long .they dont have silky players like silva , foden or de bruyne. the recent game vs city it looked like team was still playing the opp way.
good video none the less.
@@zaildarbains At no point in the video did i ever say Liverpool play like a Pep team. I said Arne Slot was inspired by Pep. I used quotes from SLOT HIMSELF, saying that many of his principles come from having watched Pep. So once again i appreciate the kinds words but its very evident you have comprehension problems.
@@pedtalkssports there are so many influences over a 30 year career. He must’ve played and managed 500 games . Learning something new in every match up . Bringing out the best from the squad available to him . Adjusting his tactics , tweaking them, week after week . To narrow the discussion about SLOTT in terms and relation to PEP was very uninspiring.
Arteta and Chelsea’s manager have been understudies with PEP very recently . If anything , they must’ve learned more about PEP than the man you made the video about .
How can a lot of slots tactics literally be from watching pep teams , when Liverpool look nothing like a pep team under Slot. They look in contrast to each other . One is more direct and the other is more measured .
If anything ARNES style so far has been more akin to Klopp . So shouldn’t the video be about how SLOT adapted seamlessly with KLOPPS team because of their shared playing style .
Certainly the directors at Liverpool had this in mind .
I think it’s your comprehension about football that’s a little limited .where conversation about a managers playing style has to be measured and rated on the PEP-OMETER scale .
as a viewer I felt the video was mistimed and redundant. Hence I said not every tactic is about pep 😒
Just positive criticism . Don’t mean to offend you or anything .
a whole essay to show a complete lack of comprehension ability. I respect it tbh, it takes a special level of buffoonery to spout this nonsense.
What is wrong with you btw? 🤣😅
Angerbait video
Arne slot is copying pep
Such BS statement
@@aryenbashory2731 watch the video before yapping. It was simply a look at how much slot has been inspired by pep through his managerial journey and how he has taken some of his tactics and made it his own. Watching before speaking will help you avoid looking like a buffoon. Also the title is an open ended question not a statement so congratulations you’ve looked like a moron twice
@pedtalkssports are you dumb he's inspired by Johan Cruyff not pep since he's Dutch and it's the typical Dutch playing style
pep guardiolas tactics are also stolen
not stolen but inspired and instilled by johan cruyff who played pep like he plays his current players
hes a financial cheat no matter how you word it
@@abendingmetal7640 to a nobody like you sure. Doubt pep cares what you think though
Well, he's bald
