Rhett Lawrence even travelled to the Philippines to personally witness Mori's 1st major concert. I think they are just waiting until her contract in the Philippines ends.

Jason,you are 100% right,there is nobody. like you I have looked,and studied a few might be there,but she takes it with the control, hands down, just unmatched period.So,just think for a min,if she is this good now, what in the world are we gonna hear from her in 5yrs?, or, 10? crazy..And you are also correct the world needs to know, i tell ya, Ive been studying her on this recent US Tour,and it's to be completely honest,very disappointing, First she had the Voice crash,omg..what a sad thing,but besides that,I'm watching her and the Audiences shes pulling,and mostly Phillippino crowd, very few Americans, I mean mostly though out the show she speaks Tagalog, which is fine,but just proves my point,,THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE FILLING STADIUMS!!, she is doing relatively small venues to mostly a Phillippino audiences, I mean, comon people WAKE UP! this is a Majot talent., I dunno man..I just don't know..well..anyway I feel ya brother, nice job again and,,as always,,GO MORI !!!

I just saw a video this morning of Morissette talking to Rhett Lawrence for awhile in the hotel lobby in LA before she left on Heavenly Gifted voice channel. This was great to see because what she really needs is an original hit song to capture our attention and the worlds attention that hasnt seen or heard her yet. Nobody better to do that than Rhett. I can’t wait to see what they come out with. I pray its her launching pad to international superstardom!!! 😊😊😊😊

Lol.. i was like whew! ..but i think this trip was designed just mostly for her fans here since they were at the locations that were chosen. With her voice that can happen if overworked . Having that kind of range is a rare and unnatural singing tone for the human body. It happend too Mariah too and she had to learn to rest more. I am happy to see that Rhett knows Morissette is too good. He even said earlier this year he has no doubt Morissette will become huge after they work together. 😊😊😊😊😊
If I may. I'm not a music exec, marketing exec, but for a reason I cannot explain, I have unwavering faith in her. The World WILL know her name. I don't know if others believe in God or a Higher power but the verse in Matthew 17:20 comes to mind. (faith of a mustard seed) patience is vital. Everyone with lasting power in the Industry has had to grind. I'm not talking about the one hit wonders, I'm talking about the Legands. The saying is it takes 20 years to be an overnight success, so playing venues where the audience is "questionable", traveling with other artists, having to do what you NEED to do so you can do what you WANT to do comes with the territory. Social media is the best free advertising out! This will not happen overnight! Let the people whose job it is to promote her to the next step work their magic, in the meantime fans should do what they can to support her and spread her name. Rhett said something in his original interview on Wish that is spot on. The key is collabs. Just putting out an album with an unknown artist this day and age is hard, ya need a cosigner. (aka Justin had Usher) she has risen above obstacles that would have leveled any other artist. She doesn't stop, so we don't stop! We believe no matter what! Five years ago I watched X Factor US... again (I'm no exec) but when Simon put together 5th Harmony, I predicted then that the break out star would be Camilla Cabello. Fast forward, I was at Barnes and Noble a couple of months ago and she was on the front of "Rolling Stone!" Believe! Morissette Amon has the "IT" print this comment and when she walks her first AMA red carpet and performs remember "I told you so!" 😉

Yes I agree. Nobody can do Mariah like that. It is nothing against other singers that try, but they just don't have the vocal range high to low that Morissette has. She proved it here. I knew how high she could get, I couldn't believe how low she got in this medley and only Mariah could extend her range like that. Amazing! 😊😊😊😊

I totally agree with you that it takes one Filipino singer to crack the international circuit especially in the pop music industry. While you can throw in names such as Lea Salonga and Rachelle Ann Go who are known world-wide as Broadway performers, no one in the Philippines had really make it big world-wide in the pop music industry.
But here's the good news: I predict that 2019 is the year for Asian singers and entertainers and that would include Morissette of course. Slowly but surely, the world is taking notice of the Asian talents that abound. The kpop band phenomenon BTS from South Korea has made it internationally and hitting it big in the international pop music circuit. (Incidentally, have you seen or reacted to BTS official video of Idol? If you haven't, check it out.) Why 2019 for Morissette? She will end her contract with her current TV commitments at ABS-CBN and is free by then to consider her options and one of them is to crack the pop music at the international level. At the last concert Morissette had, which was held just a few days ago in Los Angeles, CA, Rhett Lawrence (Mariah Carey's producer and other well-known artists) was at the hotel and was videotaped talking to Morissette and her team and he pulled out what seems to be a video of a performance. Speculation is that Morissette had recorded a song (or songs?) in the U.S. but right now, everything is soooo tight-lipped about this. So, we will just hold our breath for a wait-and-see moment.
