PEP buddy is a small, hands-free device that helps improve breathing in people with COPD and other lung diseases. PEP Buddy works by 1) providing a gentle back pressure when you breathe out, which helps air tubes to stay open, 2) it slows down the breathing rate, 3) prolongs the exhalation, 4) helps you focus on breathing.
Clinical studies have shown PEP buddy to be effective and easy-to-use. 3 out of 4 people (72%) have a significant improvement in their breathing and quality of life. 1 out of 3 (36%) have better oxygen levels when using PEP buddy.

For me it is easier sometimes to fall asleep in my recliner chair, but the next day I have to go to my bed.

But I use a CPAP machine which seems to help a lot for good sleep. And I never get up if I lay awake for awhile, I just stay in my warm bed. I hate getting up to pee - 3 times a night.
