If you use enough stabilizer your embroidery comes out much better. With a sweatshirt I use a good cutaway and a sturdy tear away.

Nice! For this one I used a layer of heavy tear away and a lighter weight cut away. For larger designs I just don't want that big cut away chunk left behind, so I need a lighter, more bendy type.

I have a logo from a client that I had someone help me digitize and when I tried to embroider it the logo was basically bulletproof because it was so thick. Now i'm trying to figure out how to digitize it myself.

Ahh, I bet the design doesn't use layers correctly! I have a video on that. It's using Hatch Embroidery 3 software, but the concept is the same regardless of what digitizing software you use.
