I have to drive by these medians several times a week. It always drives me crazy to see all the weeds growing in the cracks. Well I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not paid by the city - in fact I pay taxes so that things are maintained. That said, you can sit home and complain about it, which is really boring and childish, or you can just get out there and make the difference yourself, which is what I did.
There's no talking in this video, just work. A little reprieve from "those chatty RUclipsrs".
I hate to say it but the mowing season has come to an end here in the "Up North". We'll have snow soon. So I'm interested to know from you - what would you like to see in the winter months? Sure I could snow blow but I think you'll find that boring. EVERYTHING is white and looks the same. Camera batteries shut down from the cold. It's a real bummer!! There's a lot more I could have done but there was a lot of real estate. I only planned to do the medians but I veered off into the sidewalks cuz I just couldn't help it. So tell me - is this good content? Should I do other round-a-bouts? Lord knows there's a million of them in my area!!

1.) The city council just got"the smack-down of shame" handed to them!
2.) The DPW aren't doing what they're supposed to be doing. You(only 55 years young) put the "wasteful workers" to shame-by out doing their job on them-making them look bad, lazy & a few other words I can't use here!
3.) Tomorrow (November 9th) is MY 59th birthday! None of my family called, text or even wrote me a birthday note last year, so I don't hold out much from them for this year. My mom might, not sure yet. Doug❤️🐻🤓👍🇺🇸🎉🦅⭐⭐⭐

I asked God:: what gives? His response! You're not threatening my home yet!" Just get me a gallon jug of industrial strength Geritol that I can enjoy some Geritol chaser's, forget the whiskey for whiskey chaser's! Doug🤭🎉⭐⭐⭐ I lost complete use of my left arm, left leg, 1/2-2/3 deaf in my left ear & my right eyeball muscles went haywire. That's one of the reasons "why" he healed me, it wasn't my "time" to move into His neighborhood! I tell ya, I got jipped out!

That’s the city’s job. The trouble is that the city worker care more for his service desk than he does about his service truck 🛻 plus you need a “street sweeper “

Bring it on! I'm pissed too that these areas look like crap. The easiest solution for them is to stay on top of their work and then citizens won't have to do it themselves. I'd welcome the conversation.

That's legit, I won't argue with those points. 😂 I'm only OCD on certain things. Those medians weren't horrible but they still looked like crap. No OCD meds just anxiety meds....and I don't have to take them if I'm out doing work, so basically I shared a therapy session with you all. (minus the crying and writing a check)

Personally I have been hit by a truck. I was pushing a cart out of Walmart and a truck took off from a dead stop, turned and plowed into me. I was almost all the way across the crosswalk but was just outside the doors when done. Those vehicles HURT! Not worth undue risk.
