G dragon the king of Kpop and CL the queen.
That is GDragon’s solo concert and thats The Band Six. They tour with him and his group BigBang and CL’s group 2NE1 tours as well! The song is called The Leaders cuz GDragon CL and Teddy who produced this and was on the song as well are leaders of their groups BIGBANG (GD’s group), 2NE1(CL’s group) and 1TYM ( Teddy’s hiphop group)

This song never gets old. The best thing about this track was that they made a statement and backed it up. They literally were "The Leaders" of the new school in both music and fashion. They became the standard that every company wanted to replicate.

G Dragon and CL are huge fans of Wu Tang and other hip-hop artists. G Dragon became a rapper after getting a copy of a Wu Tang album from a friend and released his first song when he was 13 becoming the youngest Korean rapper. His group Big Bang changed Kpop, they are considered the Kings of Kpop. They were the first to write and produce their own music in Kpop. They arn't really Kpop but true artists and Idols of Idols. They are the Trendsetters, their fandom name is V.I.P's. CL is from the group 2NE1 or 21 and there fandom name is Blackjacks. They are their groups "Leaders". And the Teddy in the sing is their producer at YG that help produce their music and G Dragons mentor. The Band is The Band Six and have been working with Big Bang and or G Dragon for more than 7 years. They are all super cool guys and are really good friends with Big Bang. They have so much more achievements but if I was going to go through them all we would seriously be here all day. Pls react to some Big Bang along with more CL, believe me you won't be disappointed. This is no competition tho. GD always give spotlight to his guest . Him and CL are from the same agency and they support each other. GD never try to overshadow anyone and he likes to make them shine when they are perform together. King & Queen, my fav kpop idols and they are a perfect combination. Only them can perform like this playful yet impactful.
Is Act III because is GDragon's third solo tour , it had 36 concerts in N America, Europe , Asia , Australia. The performance was also divided in 3 from debut songs to a middle period to his last album. This is his concert in Seoul and was held on a stadium. Is thanks to G Dragon that you see that light ocean at kpop concerts. He wanted his group BigBang fans to stand out so he created an official lightstick for the fans. Is inspired by the lotus flower , it also looks like a crown. Now every artist has one. All BigBang members are solo artists too and the fact that they tour with a live band gives them the possibility to remix , rearrange their songs so you always hear different versions and older songs are updated :-) I was at GDs concert in Paris and I can testify he is amazing . No one wanted to leave , we called his name and made him come back on stage 3 times . He got off stage and sung close to the fans.
I got to witness The Band Six live at BLACKPINK's concert in Chicago and let me tell you, they're even better in person. Easily one of the best live concert bands I've ever heard. They've worked with only the best in the industry, west and east.
BLACKPINK has an online concert next month and they're playing for the girls.
That's CL singing!!! Hahahaha. She has similar singing style as Rihanna. Both Queens are friends btw. & Backing tracks are heavily used in KPOP if you noticed. Especially their weekly music shows. But GD, BIGBANG & YG Entertainment artists are known to be great live performers whose backing track isn't more prominent than their live vocals. All YGE Concerts use live bands. That's why fans enjoy them a lot live...
Fun fact since you talked about lighticka: G-Dragon is the one that invented the lightstick concept and popularized it when he designed one for BIGBANG’s fans (his group): VIPs. Before that, fans had ballons of the group colors!

He is always the best in live performances and his voice is clean in it, but in this performance he was a sick in 2017 , because of this and do not judge him in here. I love GDragon, he is one of my favourite artists out there, not just in kpop. He is truly talented and legendary.
That's being said. I do think he abuses the back tracks a little sometimes lately. Not all the time and I know he is able to sing and rap very well without it, but he does.
I think maybe because that year ( from this concert) was a very rough year for him. You can see it in his documentary. He got extremely thin and you could see he was mentally exhausted.
Also, I think R.O.D was just like an intro, the main course was The leaders when CL appears 🙌
I hope he feels better now, I can't wait for his comeback 🤴

That's the band six! They are the best! Can't wait to have them with BIGBANG again. Also on GD, well ....here he was kinda at his end of his rope, u can see he lost a lot of weight, he confessed he was suffering from depression, his album got no promotion, his band-mate almost died... yeah i'm just glad he finished this tour cuz it definitely took a lot out of him. And it's still an amazing performance!
There are times when CL and Rihanna sound similar. They're both great! CL was the one singing in the first song (ROD - Ride or Die) The second song (The Leaders) is actually a decade old song but still a good listen! They're actually like the OG King and Queen of kpop so knowing them is a must haha :)

The Band Six has been with BIGBANG since 2012. G-Dragon personally requested to have a live band in their very first world tour that year and so the band was formed. They had been touring with both BB and 2NE1. Really amazing group of people, too. I've seen them when I attended a BB concert and it's cute how they reacted when people recognized and cheered for them, when they arrived at the concert venue.
I no longer am a ygstan but I can still def attest to the statement "In yg, not only do their artists have fans but even The Band Six and their dancers (HiTech and Crazy) have fans, too."
I know, because I used to follow anything HiTech or Crazy before. I think they're also the only backup dancers in kpop whom us fans can point out and recognize the names on and offstage - at least for the pioneer dancers (except maybe for the twins because I now have a hard time recognizing who's who after "graduating" from kpop).
Prolly because during shows, they're not just "backing people". They are always given a chance to show off how good they are, the spotlight isn't only focused on the artists but is also passed on to everyone sharing the stage with them.

GD is the leader of Bigbang whereas, CL was the former leader of 2ne1! This song was originally sung by three leaders together with Teddy who was the former leader of 1TYM!🙂 Now, Teddy is the main producer of Blackpink the biggest girlgroup in the world!

Kind of late to the game here but The Band Six is amazing to see and experience live. Pretty sure YG entertainment the company that manages Big Bang, 2ne1,Blackpink uses them pretty often for their concerts. Went to a Big Bang concert back in the day in Anaheim, CA and the band was crazy good the experience of watching them live was too good! Also good reaction videos keep it up!

The Band Six are BIGBANG’s (the boy group from which G-Dragon comes, and he’s their leader) live band they’ve been with them for quite awhile and they’re pretty close. They tour with them as well. Check them out they’re dope, they also worked with Lil Wayne if im not mistaken.

They're both the OGs that influenced what korean music and fashion is today in the global setting. First, it's CL's voice on the R.O.D (Ride or Die) not Riri. Fun fact, CL and Rihanna are actually friends and Beyonce personally handpicked CL to join her Ivy Park x Adidas collection. Also G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong) and CL (Lee Chae Rin) are actually really close. Since 2007, he would use her voice for his songs and since 2008, he would always bring her around for his concerts and they would always be seen together for Fashion Week. GD is Chanel's Muse and CL is Moschino's Muse. Unfortunately, now that she left YG Entertainment, I doubt we'll ever see them work together again. But I'd like to think that because GD's influence in his company is so huge, he can do whatever he wants, but it's CL that might not want it no more since she's starting to disassociate herself with anything YG. They did her real dirty for 5 years. Fortunately, they're still friends irl. Lastly, since you've been reacting to the OGs, you'll get a lot of second gen subscribers for sure. Thanks for reaction. I appreciate a lot. For Bigbang & G-Dragon videos with good subtitle i recommend the channel @Dorian Gray. Bigbang's lyrics & G-Dragon solo songs are mostly difficult to translate into other languages because G-Dragon likes wordplay in the lyrics where one word can have two or more meanings, therefore many mistranslate and lose their meaning. Sorry for my bad English.

I love both Gdragon & CL. CL was fresh out so she is more energetic & people love their colab. But GDragon has massive stage presence too. He was a bit burn out on this concert and has to sing about 24 songs in the concert. I agree he use a little bit more back track in this performance but its understandable coz he was burn out. He still give his best then trying to lipsync. His condition wasnt at best during this world tour so that explains his tired look.

I know what you mean about the backtrack and that he's not singing/rapping the whole song...but as it seems it's something common in the Korean entertainment, it's supposed to be due to the choreography they do and to show that they're actually singing/rapping live... it sounds stupid but it is what it is, took me a while to get used to it. That's why I love CL and 2ne1, especially CL, because they do sing live and you can tell! CL has a powerful voice and I feel that on the record song they try to smooth a bit her voice, I'm not sure how to explain it..it's like they lower her voice to make it sound better... Anyway I love her more on live stage. She's awesome. Thanks for reacting.

First of all this was really hard and emotional time for him because everything that was going on w him and his group (u need to know backstory)
Secondly when he invites someone to his concert as a guest he give this person to shine the most he is very humble and respectful person that's why he just stays outside most of the time
And the last part is the longevity, he was on the stage for 3 hours

Long story short... umm not really hah.
But the back tracking was the same level as him. CL was louder on hers but I could tell she wasn’t doing as much as him during her part.
But like other people in the comments said this was later in the show and since he was doing a lot in the performance I can see why he was using it.
Overall it’s still a good performance.
