Ma'am I think the height for the height of the brick should be less than 850 mm
We said 900 to the gl + 200 footing=1100
From the 1100mm we Ddt 200 footing Ddt 150mm topsoil and Ddt 25 mm reduce level to get 725.
So if we say 725 add 175 height of reinstating we get the 900mm

we were lookin for the height to formation level not ground

@@paneah442 It is still not right in my mind as the ground level is not the same height as the blinding level.
We know 200mm footing + 900mm wall + 200mm above ground projection where concrete bed top is, is 1300mm.
Then surely you deduct the slab build up that finishes at the same level, i.e. 100mm concrete bed, 25mm blinding layer, and 250mm hardcore bed, giving you 375mm to deduct.
This equals 925mm from underside of footing to formation level, OR (975-200) 725mm from top of footing to formation level.
Look at the drawing behind her and work through it. I cannot see the area under the formation level to top of slab being 850mm.
