Lately I have learned how impactful positive words are for middle school and high school kids. The words Jase told the young man in his yard carried and lifted him. Men, let's informally adopt young men and be their father, Galatians 3 reminds us believers that we are also adopted FORMALLY into the Kingdom of The Almighty.
The marriage advice given in this episode is very very powerful! I have never heard this advice and really wish I had many years ago. They should come back and do another episode based on Jobe 31 helping us humans learning what marrige should be....this could save many marriages...this is what should be tought to us before marriage! Thank you all...truly greatful!

We were wormed too! Grew up on a house with a gravel road
We had to take worm medicine in small town Florida. It seemed to be the norm for all kids when we were kids!
I live in Barrow County where the school shootings happened. I kept hearing sirens and I kept hearing sirens. I thought, something is wrong. I had been praying that morning about that very thing. I was praying for God to protect my daughter who has been takes classes in Athens. I prayed for God to protect my grandchildren and my family like I do every morning. I thank God that my grandchildren made it home safely, because they go to these schools. I feel so sorry for all those families that lost their loved ones and for the families that had loved ones that were injured. Both of my children graduated from this school several years ago. One time there was a boy bullying some kids in his classroom. Well, he was moved and placed in my son's classroom. Then that boy started bullying my son and a few others. My husband and I was worried that the boy and his friends were going to keep on and jump on my son when he was on his way to his truck when school let out. So my husband went to Apalachee High School and talked to one of the counselors. The counselor stood up and said, don't worry Mr. Brown, I'll handle it and he did. My son never had anymore trouble with that boy.
ABOUT the school shootings: The grandmother went to the school and told the counselor that he had mental health problems. Then the mother got a text from her son ( Colt ) that day saying , I'm sorry mom. The mom called the school immediately and told the counselor it was an emergency. She told them to go find him. The counselor didn't do her job. She didn't take it serious enough. You have people that are there just for a paycheck and you people that really care. IMO the counselor needs to be fired for not doing her job. I wish they would stop putting all this on the News Stations too. The more they keep on about it the worse it gets. I pray for all these people that lost their loved ones. I pray for that boy and his parents that caused all of this in the first place. He definitely needed help and he did ask for help but no one helped him. 😢

Good for Phil! A strong male role-model is a tough thing to find in this evil society. As you pointed out, that discipline turned out 4 sons of God, so it worked! I'm the same age as Jase and I thank my Dad for his strict discipline all the time. So many of the evil issues we see in our society are direct results of no discipline and feminized men. Guys I’m with ya however this shooting is not the vehicle to move fathers to be better. It’s every day. It’s keeping our kids off the phones. Rid the house of toxic television It’s a father being more attentive, disciplined and accountable. Its praying before meals talking about the Lord reading the word as a family. It’s placing consequences to your kids. They lie, they don’t do their chores, they disrespect their mom they get the back of the hand. I raised my sons that way just as my dad raised me and his dad him. My sons thank me all the time. They see how horrific their own generation is. No respect no character no God no respect for mom and dad. Also pornography is they say is destroying relationships. They would rather spend time with family and their dogs then socialize in this demonic society.
I was a public school teacher for over two decades. The amount of parents who refuse to hold their children accountable for behavior and grades is atrocious. If a child fails a quiz or test, teachers get blamed that we are not teaching to their child's learning style. And if a parent has a loud mouth or is in a prominent position in the community, the schools look the other way. It is very scary what is happening in our schools and homes because parents don't want their kids to not like them. Parenting is the most important job in the world and they need to train their children up right, not teach them how to lie and get out of things. I left teaching because of all the nonsense. It is sad but it was affecting my health.
