i feel so big brain for doing edge slides and stair climbs from season 1 having discovered it independently because it just felt right. how doesnt everybody instinctively discover stair climbing, and how do people manage to play heavies without knowing about edge sliding?!
fun fact: if you use a mediums jumping pad (or any jump pads) you can keep the momentum by spamming jump while you land, this actually saved a few games for me where i was short on time!
i independently discovered stair climbing and edge slides in open beta and i felt so proud of myself when i found out people are talking about it now but i also watched this video thinking i would learn something new but i already know all of these movements
I knew about the door jumping and I usually use to when I'm purchased by an enemy to peak and finish him off cause they don't know where your at when you it so very useful for those who don't know about it.
I thought i was the only person that climbs doors to ambush/juke other players. I've seen other players using the other techniques in this video but not the doors. Its extremely effective 😂
idk why people always say you have to look up while doing window jumps, no need lol. i personally look sideways while in the vaulting animation so i can kinda see what's happening behind me. good video tho!
So I’ve used the door climb before. I wouldn’t call it a new tech because it’s barely a tech at all(in my opinion). I’ve used it with dagger when people are chasing me(for dagger sprint through door, hard turn to where the door opens, turn and jump on door, when they go though hit them with a backwards akiba stab just to flex). However, never seen anyone cover this so to be fair you’ve now made too many people better at the game(in a good way)! Great vid for new people too!
Dude I figured out door climbing by accident one day and I blew myself away 😭 🤣 I was running from someone and had the instinct to run inside behind the door and climb on top. Dude got beamed in the head lololol
@@Exist64 no not really. The clips I used were a bad example of door climbing because I rushed to get the video out. It can be done much cleaner even without invis.
None of these are ''new''... Also you say you haven't seen these implemented into gameplay but I know at least the group I play with frequently utilise them, admittedly I don't see many people climbing doors but it's fairly common sense, so with that in consideration I imagine that there are very many better players than I who use all of these. I've only got 500 hours myself including betas, and I know there are people with thousands.
@@TheSwiftCheetah0 just showed up on my recommended, I didn’t even realize it was you till like halfway through the video when I saw your name. You edit like a pro, underrated.
Come on, lol, stair climbing is here from season one, and TA is worst mode, door climbing is fun but in world tour it's useless, and edge sliding used just naturally, basically its the 90% known tips if you play it from the season 1 but it was fun to watch! I will try ledge peak on heavy with rpg lol if it will work i will give you like and the sub!
@@powum of course, because before season 3 cashout was the ranked mode. And if you don’t win the tournament it automatically counts as a loss. Thats why it’s not an accurate way to show skill.

gotta stack edgeboosts, the extra velocity is additive and if you can hit 2-3 edges consecutively it gets wicked fast.
For window climbing you actually don’t have to look up if you time backing up and jumping you only have to be facing the direction of the window
@@markestesii8690 yeah but it’s easier to teach it that way.

Think a lot of players don't realise how far the mantle reaches. You can magnetise to a lot of ledges youd think you can't reach.
