I personally love the fact that, because of the auditory processing problems associated with ADHD, Ethan has no trouble reading lips because most of us with ADHD do that all the time without realizing it.

Anyways, I don't see how ADHD would help.. I feel like it would be harder. Y'know, since its an attention disorder. Idk, tell me if you can.
@@bussybuffet956 I have diagnosed ADHD, and I can read lips. I can also play piano which requires you to pay attention to the notes and keys. I can also read lips. I picked up on reading lips because it helps me under stand what this person is trying to get across when other things are happening

It turns out, this is pretty normal. If a person goes deaf, they can't accurately tell their own voice volume, and this apparently often leads to speaking much louder than intended.

Ethan is insane at guessing Oreos AND at guessing sentences. It's incredible.
It’s probably because of his ADHD. It can heighten senses, which is why some people with ADHD can sometimes experience sensory overloads.
As for the expert lip reading, sometimes they can’t entirely process what someone is saying, so their brain has to subconsciously attempt to fill in the blanks with what they see and what they could understand, so they don’t have to annoy others by asking them to repeat.
How ADHD and mental illnesses in general affect the mind is fascinating.
(Also someone could fact check me idk how true everything is)

It's cool to see Mark and Ethan's different reactions to discomfort. Ethan gets up and moves away from the threat while Mark tenses up and closes his eyes. It also seems to reflect their personalities.
Edit: Now that Unus Annus has ended, and Ethan has been pepper sprayed and appears to have changed his stance on discomfort, I wonder if he would react to another situation like this differently.
