April 10, 2023 is the first day of Russey Keo Bridge temporarily put into operation.

This is the first time that a cable-stayed concrete bridge has been seen in Phnom Penh and today is the first day of temporarily put into operation.
This Russey Keo cable-stayed concrete bridge plays an important role in relieving traffic on National Road No. 6 and National Road No. 5, as well as the entrance to Phnom Penh, and another new achievement, a new bond for Phnom Penh from the government.
The construction of the Russey Keo cable-stayed concrete bridge across the Tonle Sap River with a construction capital of $ 35 million.
The bridge project will create a new traffic flow in Chroy Changvar district connecting Russey Keo district and also a new road connecting the city traffic to the Moradok Techo National Stadium, which Cambodia will host the 2023 SEA GAME. In the future as well.
Please be reminded that the construction project of the cable-stayed concrete bridge across the Tonle Sap River was inaugurated on October 23, 2017 in Russey Keo and Chroy Changvar districts.
The bridge project has a modern style with 4 large pillars, up to 40 meters high for hanging cables. The Russey Keo bridge across the Tonle Sap is 922 meters long and 20.5 meters wide, while the pedestrian sidewalk is 1.25 meters wide on each side. 120 meters apart.
It is a two-way traffic bridge with 4 lanes for cars: 2 Lanes go and 2 lanes back, one lane is 3.75 meters wide.
