I am having the same problem but will look into this matter a a later time. At least now I know I can start the car in neutral so I am in no hurry to get it fixed. I want to get the cover off the gear shift and inspect what is going on.. Thanks for sharing this information. You would think these dealership mechanics could of figured this one out after two trips to the Toyota dealership.
