How do you keep the screen recording zoomed out to view the whole image when you are actually zooming much deeper into the details as a painter? I am looking to make the screen recording more pleasing to the audience as well :)

I'm pretty sure he uses photoshop, he has used it in some other videos, what is interesting as far as I concern is that you can use basically anything for brushes, so you can make your 3D print model, import it into a new layer on photo shop and create a brush from it, precerving lights and shadows, also if you have the extended version of CS6 you basically can work on 3D and 2D at the same time, depends of which is which from your layers.

The only thing I don't know is how he does that at 4:26. I know he also uses Groboto, but I never putted on practice myself in that program so not sure if you can archive that dimentional perspective on it.
