I really wanted to get this 4oth anniversary version of SOC Voltes V but it was so expensive so I had to settle with SOC GX-31. But your review has compensated that as I was able to view it and notice the difference in the design. I was a little shocked when I saw it can’t stand up right as I thought they would correct the flaw in the 40th anniversary version.

yes, you are right, both GX-31 and GX-31V 40th anniversary, is bit leaning forward when standing, however from joint point of view I think the 40th Anniv is better.
However I am still looking for GX-31V, however the price already sky rocketed :'(

What is the different with 31v?

Mainly the paint job is different, and normal gx-31v has missile gimmick like the vintage version
