I got rid of all stocks in 1999 but for a few dividend blue chips, and invested in a multifamily rental property, and a hidey-hole parcel in the woods in preparation for the SHTF that I thought was right around the corner. I, too, am light on PMs, but find that by waking up one day feeling really old, my % ideals have changed. I like hype and fear. The fear part is my concern for my wife's comfort and safety. It's kept me motivated to keep plugging away. The hype part is like buying a super lotto ticket one day and having great dreams before the realities of the next day smack me out of it. David Lin is a fine interviewer, his guest on the other hand was predicting a 94% drop in the stock market, and has been saying that for decades, that's the type of content that is garbage, and he should not have him on as a guest if he wants to be a serious show.
