- It's the best i have ever eaten! A simple ground beef recipe! We cook at home!
You can't even imagine how delicious and easy this recipe is. Once cooked, you will cook it over and over again. I can safely say that it is the best I have ever eaten. The combination of tender minced meat, cabbage and rice is an incredible taste of your favorite dish. Prepare this extremely tasty dish for your family. Everyone will be delighted with a delicious dinner. Cook with pleasure! Cook with love!
▶ Recipe and ingredients:
Vegetable oil
1/2 cup rice (200 ml cup)
1 glass of water (200 ml glass)
Salt to taste
Bring to the boil and simmer over medium heat until all the water has evaporated
1/2 Chinese cabbage
2 cups of boiling water
give time to stand
500 g minced meat
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
Squeeze water out of cabbage
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt, pepper to taste
Shape the minced meat into cutlets
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Bake for 20 minutes at 190 ° С
1 onion
1 carrot
Fry in vegetable oil
Fry for 1-2 minutes
Let simmer for 5 minutes
2 cloves of garlic
200 g sour cream
500 ml of water
Salt, pepper to taste
Bake for another 20-30 minutes
some dill

Perfectly prepared and presented. I just love minced meat recipes as it can be easily manipulated by adding ground veggies and anything you like to add to enhance the flavor and your recipe is now one of my favorites.
Made it twice and family loved it. Made it again using meatless ground by Gardein ( for veggie son) . I realized the meatless ground had very little fat and would not bind together to form patties, so instead, I put it in a baking pan like a meat loaf. It was excellent and easier to assemble. Will make these again & again both with ground beef and meatless ground!

@Linda Sheets I don't know why, but I thought it was flour or cornstarch. When I read the recipe in the drop-down box, I can see that it's actually sour cream that's mixed with water. I am from Alabama, USA. I wish she would tell us the name of each recipe when she cooks; her meals all sound delicious! And I just love to watch her prepare and cook.

Yes, I did make it using lean ground beef. It was wonderful. I think next time I'll use half n half rather than milk. I think it would add more depth to the dish. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipes. Linda from Texas in USA.

I can't always find that kind of cabbage but I'll try it with very thinly shredded cabbage.
@@isabellelaval7294 you’ll probably just have to cook the cabbage longer so it has the same consistency as the Napa cabbage which is not as crunchy as regular cabbage. You probably no this or it’s too late but just thought it might help

Very tasty! It tastes like the filling for stuffed cabbage, minus the tomato of course. Due to the lack of bread crumbs and laziness, I baked this as a casserole. I let it cook a little longer to make sure the center was cooked (about 35 minutes) and added the shredded cheese 15 minutes before it was done. Cut into eight portions like lasagna, I served with a mushroom/ sour cream sauce with the chopped dill in top. I will definitely make this again.

Your post reminds me of the first time I tried to make cabbage rolls. The cabbage was uncooperative, though I was following a recipe and I'd read through it twice before starting. So I layered all of the ingredients in a big casserole dish, baked it at 375°F for an hour & a bit, and it was delicious! I called it "Halupkie lasagna" because of the layers, and I didn't miss the "rolls," either!
An even "lazier" less-stress way is to use bagged coleslaw mix instead of a head cabbage, brown the meatballs in a skillet first, drain, and put the ingredients into a crockpot, cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, and voila! All the yummyness of cabbage rolls, a fraction of the work!

@@lovemi3231 в мясной фарш добавляют полуготовый отварной рис и формируют небольшие шарики. Их отваривают в подсоленой воде со специями. Готовые они действительно из-за торчащего риса напоминают ёжики. Нам с сестренкой еще в далёком детстве готовила такие "ёжики" наша бабушка.
Хотите, можете котлеты в сухарях называть ёжиками🤣.

I made this recipe but instead of fresh cabbage I used newly fermented sauerkraut. Came out amazing!
Thats great, but heat kills the bacteria so you aren't getting any bacteria when you use fermented sauerkraut this way. Its better to eat the fermented sauerkraut cold so you get all the good bacteria. Otherwise, if you just wanted the taste of the fermented cabbage in your meat loaf, then that's Ok.

I would recommend Bell Pepper as well for the meat.
If you don’t have the Chinese cabbage. Substitute regular cabbage!

I have done variations on this for decades. I call it hamburger rice. Now that I am doing low carb I substitute riced cauliflower for regular rice. Tastes great!
