One of our favourite ways to eat umeboshi is to add the paste to some mayo and use that in a shredded cabbage and chicken salad (if you have use smoked chicken). I never had umeboshi with an oil based dressing. I'll try it sometimes..

Perhaps when I get to Japan in a few months I can find myself one of those square-shaped pans so I can make Japanese egg more easily. Western round pans make them so much thicker in the middle! Satoshi sure knows how to make a fancy dinner, btw! Nicely done!
I really enjoy when satoshi cooks because it shows so much more than just a food review-so talented and so natural and easy to follow him. Leaving the skin on potatoes and carrots are very nutritious too! Thank you for your hard work!
We are making the koji curry this weekend! We have to make a trip to get the oyster mushrooms but we are so excited. The mikan jelly is AMAZING as well as the hot sauce. We ordered more of both from Kokoro!

I just got my box and I'm so happy. I think you forgot to mention in the video (you do mention it in the packet) that the vegan curry is also gluten free, which is AWESOME. Almost all Japanese curry cubes out of the box have wheat flour/gluten which makes it a no-no for celiacs. Thank you so much!
