Corinna Squirrelheart is now a recurring character in my tabletop game. And her sister Aliona. All credit to you... and I have required my players to be able to pronounce Aliona correctly.
Hi, Jen, I'm Fiora. I watched a bit of your stream replay and you said you read the comments here. Thank you for your work on this game. It means so much to me. BG3 has brought my partner and I over a thousand combined hours of joy so far, and in almost all of those Shadowheart is my main friend/girlfriend. You did such an amazing job bringing her to life and making her likeable. She's my favorite companion, and we haven't even finished her story yet! Though I know most of it from spoilers. It's difficult for me to adventure with anyone else since my partner takes Karlach along. I am disabled by near-daily seizures and PTSD, and since its release this game has been a huge bright spot for me and my partner despite my chronic health struggles. A main draw for me is the depth of its characters, and the ability to have a non-childish lesbian romance which seems so rare in media. This game's queer inclusivity is absolutely wonderful without being preachy. I'm a gay trans woman, in a loving hetero relationship (long story), with very few friends throughout my life. And while it may seem silly, BG3 has helped with some of my loneliness in various ways since these characters are so lifelike I feel like I'm actually interacting with and having relationships with them. Your friendliness and support of trans people in your interview with Dan Allen was lovely as well. Seeing someone with a decently large public profile so confident about being queer and supporting us trans folks was a beautiful relief from all of the hatred here in America. Thank you for unabashedly being you and sharing that positivity. It helped me feel that little bit more hopeful, and confident in myself. I thought I'd end this ramble/letter with a question. I sent it with a Streamily order but I'm not sure if you'll see it there. Would Shadowheart adopt cats? We're doing our definitive playthrough with our golden Honor Mode dice, and I need to know if after all is said and done she and I could adopt three cats and live happily ever after haha. "Absolute" best to you and Aliona, - Fiora
Been needing something more lighthearted to watch for a while and after discovering you guys earlier this month I can now happily say you are my comfort gays I watch to relax and de-stress. Keep up the awesome streams! 👻
id just like to say i got a literal thousand hours into this game and i still cry EVERY TIME at shadowfell. such incredible performance, you girls are amazing
Yeah, Dror Ragzlin is no joke. My strategy centers on destroying every possible war drum to delay reinforcements. If I'm going to turn the entire Goblin Camp hostile, I want to face them just one room at a time.
Mine was to get the entire squad on roof planks, throw down those who climb, and generally rain hell from a distance. For drums I had 1-2 persons near the drums preventing and killing anyone who tries to get near or touch it. Fun battle. I also took down Minthara from the same high ground infact, her room is right next to it accessible from the edges of the high grounds.
An enraged Karlach took him out fairly quickly for me. I did manage to destroy the war drums before the fight started using an invisible Shovel. Also helps to have faerie fire on them all.
Can also clear the camp before going into his chamber. Or at least clear the inside of the building one little isolated group of goblins at a time lol. And then shove/throw/thunder wave/arrow of roaring thunder/bomb blast him into the hole right beside his throne. So the spiders can finish off what's left of him after fall damage, lol. And then thunder wave all his other little minions into the GINORMOUS hole into the middle of the chamber lol
I would seriously recommend doing Ethel and the swamp before the goblin camp. It might seem counterintuitive, because it is, but that whole part is broken down into sections, and you can long rest at any time with 0 drawbacks, AND you get a shitload of experience, AND you can redeem Kahga and fight the shadow druids, so the goblin camp is trivialised and you can just continue on afterwards to the Underdark
I cleared most of the camp and then smuggled some smokepowder barrels, place them around the room (idk if this works on higher difficulties but in balanced the enemies were fine with the me dropping the barrels around them) and then blow them up with a fireball. After the fireball there's like 3 goblins that are 1 shot and Ragzlin left. First tried the fight with this.
Dror is definitely the first fight that seemed really daunting to me when I first started. I was struggling for a good chunk of Act 1 until I learned that taking high ground as often as possible with your party stealthed is the ideal setup before initiating any fight and it really helps! For Dror I think what I did was go to the rafters, take out nearby wardrums (make sure no one sees), and then range attack him to initiate combat. I like to do the dialogue for as many fights as possible but for trickier ones it's a lot easier if you just forego talking and range attack the boss. Aside from environmental damage/shoving etc., I also hoarded grease and explosives and random looted weapons for (my zerker spec) Karlach to throw. Also totally use scrolls and other combat items you loot! The versatility in strats in BG3 is fun. You guys are doing awesomely and it's great to see you having fun playing and improving each time and makes me feel like picking up my other playthroughs again. :)
My strategy for Dror was to get the entire team on that planked high ground, then initate fight through ranged attack(NOT through dialogue, hit their face). Use shove or Gale's thunderwave to throw down the enemies who climb. Drum is near left stairs, you can have one person block it in melee for those who wanna go for the drum, and then occasionally climb back up if things are getting messy. Shove is extremely useful in this entire fight in multiple instances
It's possible to one-shot Dror Ragzlin by shoving him into the chasm to the right of his throne. If you have Lae'zel with you, or your character has the soldier background, you'll gain inspiration from it. Unfortunately, it also means you can't loot his corpse for his parasite and faithbreaker warhammer.
Thanks for being yourselves and being so absolutely welcoming and helping to make this community a safe space for everyone. It's been so good to have this community to belong to in a time where I didn't really have one. Keep it up, you're getting good at the game and I love when you perform between turns, I love doing that too!
The way I used to get around Dror Ragzlin was open with a Magic missiles, one into his chair and two into the wardrum, so that the battle starts with him prone and no goblin able to summon reinforcements. Nowadays I just get in there and start hitting him with a sword.
Wait, he can be sitting down in his chair?!? Dang, I think I've been attacking him too soon. I keep worrying I can't bluff my way out of him during Speak with Dead.
I put my bard or one with the lute you get from Alfira, set them up near the spiders. Go into turn based. Play get them all around me... jump out then have anyone with a BIG pushing spell let loose.! Or just put a bunch of boom booms around his throne and followers. Depends if feeling pyro or not.
I initiated with Radiance of the Dawn hitting 6-7 enemies at once, killing 2-3, while the rest of the squad sits on planks up top raining spells and ranged damage. Any enemy who climbs gets smashed or thrown down. Drum was near stairs so 1-2 members rotated around it in melee to keep goblins from getting to it.
@@Alduizardshoot an arrow of darkness or cast darkness or fog cloud around a war drum, then destroy it. Or destroy it with aoe like fire arrows..as long as you aren't seen DIRECTLY targeting a drum, they don't bother you about destroying them lol
Get up high, always a good idea, but then I opened by dropping both the suspended Braziers down onto his table, caused havoc, did lots of damage. Dror surprised me by jumping up onto the rafters with me. But a thunderwave pushed him off and he landed flat on his face just in front of one of crew... that was awesome.
Only recently found these streams- absolutely love them. Watching this episode, I idly sang "Down, down, down, by the river", only for you two to say "can you hear singing?" Complete coincidence, but freaked me out, haha
Thanks! I realised I'd not sent you a proper thank you in a long while. I love your Streams so much....even if I have recently fallen behind in watching them......and your story about Aly really hit me hard, in a beautiful but sad way 😢. It just further confirms that you guys bring so much joy to so many of us. Thank you again for your amazing commitment to the community!
good to hear from you Marc. Aly was definitely one of a kind. dw about falling behind they're a lot of stream and we dont expect anyone to watch all of them! thanks for supporting us!
Love the positive energy from both of you in these streams, it's contagious lol. As for this boss, this is the part of the game where the combat really started to click for me. I realized how important the environment (and gravity) was when it comes to fighting strategy. There are a lot of parts of this area where you can climb very high....and of course fall from very high. You'll get em next time!
few here will get this: Jen at 26:42 is what Greg Weisman was thinking about while writting the War of the Spark: Forsaken novel. that's how i imagine Chandra Nalaar delivering the "decidely male" line lmao
I normally never comment. Perpetual lurker. However, since you read these comments, your streams are truly heart warming and great. Love the house keeping chat at the start and you guys are definitely getting a lot better at the game. Also, around the beginning of your streams I was starting to realise I have ADHD and go through the surrounding motions. I found it hard to internalise, even though I should have realised ages ago (I’m queer and dyslexic and fairly textbook ADHD, the signs were all there). Your openness definitely helped that journey. :)
I was playing this part with my friends minutes ago, cool the see you guys at the same spot. Looks little bit harder to play with console by the way. Love to see you guys, do not stop until finishing the game 😊
Regarding learning the game, this is similar to the inspiration cheering you up that Aliona mentioned. Watching someone learning and enjoying your hobby reminds you of why you enjoyed the hobby in the first place. Particularly when coupled with a spectacular example like BG3.
You are doing great ladies, keep at it! And thanks for the dose of serotonin every weekend, the stream was lovely as always! My strategy for this fight in balanced was first to get rid of the war drum, then put one or more barrels in front of Dror. Get the party to high ground on those planks and start the fight by shooting the barrel. There was no need for Halsin and the fight was over relatively quickly. Much love from Uruguay ❤
This was my first time catching you guys live, alas I am still here feeding to write a few thoughts because I was lounging on the couch watching the stream and the wireless keyboard was all the way on the other side of the room. I think everyone agrees that your streams have a bunch of touching moments but the most often ones are between A and (technically not) the camera. (pause for pun). Happy slightly late or really really early birthday to your mom, A! My mom is also a scary eastern european lady and they get stuff done, they're awesome. Speaking of doing stuff, and I really mean this with no shade at all, loosing a fight in BG3 is definately a part of the experience so in my book you definately achived something. I had a couple of fights that I save scummed because I was NOT loosing that NPC, no matter what, and the victory is so much sweeter once you succeed! PS. Aly's book recc is I who have never known men by Jacqueline Harpman , for those who wanna copy/paste that and find it at your local bookstore.
I was there for the livestream but just came here to say I hope the birthday dinner was nice and that your mum didn't go full Minthara on you.😅 If I can offer some advice for the Dror Ragzlin battle: don't worry too much about which companions to bring, just make sure that any spellcasters have as many spells slots as possible or other ways to cast spells (since that's what they're best at). Jennevere is already completely out of spells slots at the start of the battle, so check if you have any useful spell scrolls, magical items that give a free casting of a spell, or something called the "Elixir of Arcane Cultivation", which allows you to create an extra spell slot. That last one is also something you can make yourself! If you press R2, there should be an "alchemy" option, where you can make various potions, bombs, etc. Because there are a lot of different enemies, I would highly suggest "area-of-effect" spells and attacks that can hit multiple targets in one go (including the war drums) - so spells like thunderwave, burning hands, or shatter, and items like hearthlight bombs and special arrows. Other than that, just try to shove all of your enemies into the spider pit lol. Good luck!
Really enjoying this series! You're probably inundated with tips for the Dror Ragzlin fight right now, but I have a strategy that's never failed. I call it the Donkey Kong strategy: 1. Leave Halsin behind. You won't need him for this, and he's just going to get the goblins to attack you while you're setting up. 2. Go back to where you fought Priestess Gut (West side of the building. Go down those wrong stairs Jen was going down and go up the stairs on the other side and it's right in front of you. If you see a Halfling called Roah Moonglow, the door is to your right). 3. When you're inside the door, you can jump over the wall to the left. It's a high jump so probably only Karlach and Lae'zel will be able to make it. They might take a little bit of damage falling down on the other side, so take a feather fall potion if you have it. If you don't, it's not a big deal. 4. Rather than trying to jump back out of the room, just fast travel back to the Goblin Camp waypoint. This will put your whole group back outside the building. From the waypoint, follow the wall on your right to find your way back in. 5. Go back to Dror Ragzlin's room (From the entrance, keep heading straight until you reach Gut's throne. Pass it to the left but keep going the same direction. Cross the wooden bridge and the door is in front of you). Have everybody sneak before you go inside (Hold down "Down" on the D-pad for a few seconds. If you just press it, then it examines things. That's what was happening in this video) 6. Have everyone climb straight up that ladder Ver climbed in this video. Once you're all in the rafters, move across so you're above Dror Ragzlin and his goons. 7. Finally, have Karlach throw down one of her barrels. Make sure it hits something that's on fire (like a torch or something) but is as close to as many enemies as possible. The barrel will explode, and should take out a few of them. 8. Repeat throwing the barrels every turn. You may have to move Karlach around to get the angles right. If anyone climbs up onto the rafters, use Thunder Wave or Shove to knock them off and the fall damage should kill them. You should be able to clear them out in a few turns using this. Ragzlin himself is by far the toughest, so try to get him in the barrel explosion radius as often as you can. There's a lot of set-up with having to collect the barrels, etc. but it really does pay off.
Hello Jen and Aliona! When you exit the Worg Pens door there's a ladder on the right that goes to Minthara's room. Exit Minthy's room and the first big door (locked) on the right is Dror Ragzlin's area. I think this is a shorter and faster way. I suggest Verismol and Karlach goes first so they can trigger the cutscene and take their positions without using turn-based mode. Below are my suggested steps. You can also try switching Karlach with Gale. You have a better sword in your inventory (Sword of Justice). Give it to Laezel or Karlach. If you have weapons with the Tenacity feature, use it as it will still do a bit of damage even if you miss. The goblin trader outside sells a Doom Hammer with Tenacity plus a bone chill effect that prevents healing for your enemy. Two-handed weapons are the best for Lae'zel and Karlach. If Jen is proficient with Shields, equip her with one for better AC/defense. 1. Verismol and Karlach/Gale exits the Worg Pens. Use ladder on the right side. Enter and exit Minthy's room. 2. Verismol unlocks the big door and trigger the cutscene to talk to Dror. Don't start the fight yet. You'll be free to walk around. Take note of the war drums then take your positions. Karlach consumes the soul coin. If you have Gale with a fireball, you can make Verismol play music to distract them and make them move closer around you. When the fight starts later, fireball can target more of them. Verismol won't take damage because of Gale's Evocation subclass. 3. Save 4. Jen throws the invisibility potion to Halsin. Exit the Worg Pens. 5. Jen, Lae, Halsin starts turn-based mode. Use dash always. Use the ladder on the right, enter and exit Minthy's room, then enter the unlocked big door. Take your positions. 6. Save 7. Start battle! Lae or Karlach focus first on Dror. Jen can target the war dums. Try the Ray of Frost cantrip to slow down enemies. Verismol can try Thunderwave or range attack the war drums first. Also try to first target enemies that are concentrating on any spells (with a circle icon below their portrait). Karlach can pick up goblins, use them as a weapon and throw to other enemies. Later on if you want, try changing Shart's subclass to Life or Light domain. Life domain will give her better healing points, and Light domain gives her an AOE radiant damage spell Radiance of the Dawn, and Warding Flare. When you reach the Selunite outpost you can find a medium armor that will compliment Shart's radiant damage spells. Happy gaming!
My first successful Dror Ragzlin fight involved summoning the three trolls I befriended in the Blighted Village. In subsequent playthroughs I just stole all the explosive barrels from the Zhentarims next to Priestess Gut's area, set them up around him, climbed up into the rafters and had Shadowheart firebolt them and then just watched the fireworks
I'm so happy you post on RUclips because I have been deployed and haven't been abe to make the live streams, but I love to watch you play! You two are so fun and adorable, and I love the game. After watching bg3 I want to watch your other streams too❤
i could feel jen’s stress through the screen at the end lol 😭 hope you guys were not too late and hope aliona’s mom wasn’t too mad, either way the stream was delightful and i’m looking forward to the bonus stream this week!! 🩷
Just a note on getting Halsin into the fight much more easily ... go back to camp and drop him from the party, then take the other 3 to where the big fight will be, then go back to camp and get Halsin.
This is the first proper tough boss fight and it took me a few attempts to get through it. Most importantly, you need to have all of your characters equipped with all the relevant gear at your disposal, all your equipment slots filled with something. Move gear off of anyone you're leaving in camp at least to start with. Doing this will make all fights a lot easier, and you're unlikely to even get halfway through the game wearing whatever looks nicest (sorry, it's just how these games work). You might want to visit camp and clear out all the junk that you've accumulated in your travellers chest or at least mark it as "Wares" (this identifies an item as junk that you want to sell to a Trader). It's pretty dull so not really stream worthy. Having plenty of gold on hand is useful when you visit a trader and find they have a magical item or two that you want. The tadpoles in your brain can provide significant buffs in combat (way down the line they can Wild Shape any player into a displacer beast) and there is no down side to using them. Lae'zel and Karlach are pretty crap with ranged weapons, but should always carry one in case they end a turn without being in combat, or you need to bring enemies to you rather than go to them. Don't expect them to do any meaning full damage with them. However, Astarion's "Sneak Attack - Ranged" is solid gold (needs Advantage - higher ground and hidden) and may be able to one-shot gobbos at this level. My party comp for the most part was Lae'zel, Astarion, my Tav, and Shadowheart. With respect to this fight specific stuff: With "Speak With Animals", you can talk to the spiders downstairs (there are two). They hate the goblins so will help you as long as you speak with animals with them. To get to them though, is a fight with about 6 goblins. As long as you stick to cantrips and standard attacks you should be able to get to them without expending resources. Hide out of sight and let them come to you. You can't control them though and will make a bee-line for the fight. Look through your gear for Oils and Poisons. Use them to coat your weapon just before the fight so you do more damage or hit more often. Drow poison can put people to sleep. Use Potions and Elixirs if you have them (Elixirs are just long-lasting potions). You can make your own via Herbalism (no idea how you do this on the PS/5 as I play on PC), though I don't recall you picking up too many ingredients (they are in the Pouches in your inventory). Pouches = Herbalism ingredients. Key ring = keys. Backpack = Camp supplies. Camp supplies can be sent directly to camp instead though, so you aren't carrying them about. Destroy the drums with arrows (probably won't bring reinforcements if you do the fight to get the spiders). Shove the dudes into the pit (where the spiders are currently). Karlach and Lae'zel are really the only characters worth trying this with, and you need to be the other side of them to shove them properly (there's a light blue/cyan targeting path that show where they will go when they're succesfully shoved). You provoke "Attacks Of Opportunity" if you move out of melee combat, but you can circle around the target to get better aim, as long as you don't move *away* (I think Jen has picked this up from what she was saying). If they don't reach the pit, use your remaining movement to follow up to get closer after the shove. You did this successfully with one gobbo on this stream, but getting more down there takes them out of the fight for a minimum of about 5 turns if they survive the fall. The spiders will happily kill them if they drop in, but the spiders will do more good directly helping you in the main fight (it is two more targets that the goblins will need to worry about). 4 party members, Halsin, and two spiders is seven things that they will be shooting at rather than just the 4 of you. If you can somehow bring more targets via summons, all the better. Halsin should be in bear form as the hit points he has in bear form are free hit points as in when he loses them all he drops to humanoid form instead of dying. I do enjoy the playthrough though, and I hope you keep on with it. This is a tough fight, but a big learning opportunity as all challenges should be. Best of luck with it! Sorry that this has become a bit of a wall of text! Conzar of Baldur's Gate, Warlock extraordinaire!
I'm so addicted to this game, it is ridiculous. Love the VA performances, you guys did outstanding work! Quick question: There is a spell called Tasha's Hideous Laughter, which makes the target roll on the ground laughing hysterically. Did you guys voice act that as well?🤣
Every lost battle is experience gained You’ll only get better and better with time, overall you’re doing really really well now Also - pls don’t forget to sell things like extra weapons and trinkets (don’t just store them in a chest), it’s a good idea to start accumulating money from the very start - there’s a “little” something that I think Aliona will want to splash out on in Act 3 and it’s not cheap Potions of healing and invisibility are always a must-buy in my opinion, even if you have a lot of them already As well as certain scrolls - like Scroll of Fireball for example - it’s extremely powerful and super useful when you need to strike multiple enemies at once Thunderwave and Lightning bolt too… Anyway :D Sorry for the ramble and enjoy the game!
Getting mods to work on the PS5 depends on what it modifies. I've gotten a mod that let's you level past 12 and one that gives you more feats both of those transferred with my save file to the PS5. Custom classes and anything that adds visual changes wouldn't work. Making a squirrel playable might transfer, but I'm not sure. Generally if it's something that requires a mod manager to install then it won't transfer.
For a book, I highly recommend "The Traitor Baru Cormorant" by Seth Dickinson, which is a realistic fantasy book with a very intense and sapphic protagonist. Its a very rewarding read.
I feel the need to apologize on behalf of Twitch chat, for the confusion and stress near the end of the stream. Everyone was trying to be helpful, but we each had different plans in mind and different game experiences. It's hard giving directions even if chat is on the same page, so in this stream it got kinda overwhelmed with conflicting info
I skipped through this a bit on mute (I am at work, and just checking what´s going on) and I nearly didn´t recognice Shadowheart with the hat and different hairstyle.
Is this the stream that was just live today (January 28th) or is there a week or two delay between stream and upload? I’m trying to get a sense of if I’ll be caught up or not if I watch next stream
@@LucStateThat answers my question perfectly, thank you! Also, wow, it went up so quickly! I didn’t even post the recording from my D&D session today to our Discord that fast!
she is far from anti tiktok omg she sends me so many!! im just trying to come up with a way for her to post her own tiktoks but take pressure off ie. reaction tiktoks to people who have made videos to her/about her!
@@JenandAliona Fair enough. You ladies do as you enjoy. 😁 That might perhaps be the one thing I'm not quite in sync with the younger crowd these days. I've just got a stronger preference for longer form content. Tik tok and other short form videos are just too fast paced for me and as someone who more often then not recognizes where most of the audio tracks and sound bites many short videos use actually come from, I often just find myself scratching my head and thinking, "why don't I just watch the original instead?" That might, of course be in part because I've a good memory for popular culture though. Love seeing the new streams of you two though. The random tidbits of behind the scenes info combined with manic unfocused energy is just
I don't like discord ( I just dont get it ) and I have never used twitch, No twitter, and barely know how to use Instagram. please leave comments open on the vids lol .
They are progressing slowly, partly because they don't play games all that often and I believe this is their first crpg. But to be fair, you can do the goblin camp at the very end of act one if you like. Personally I spent about 89 hours exploring in act 1, doing everything I could find. This is a very content heavy game and it's easy to miss stuff if you rush through it. It's almost silly how much stuff there is in each act, optional ofc 😊.
@@Einomarand even with 89 hours and scouring every inch of each act, given the countless mutually exclusive plot points that actions, dialogue, or missing a hole in a tree stump or hidden "click" from interacting with a random chair, wardrobe etc sends you on a different story arc from, there is still only 25% of act 1s content that can be seen at Best in one playthrough lol
Ya, I think it's just a heads up for any of many ppl who may be discovering their content for the first time on any given video. An immediate who is who. Similar to Neil titling his RUclips vids of his and his buddy Tom's streams "Astarion actor Neil Newbon...." Or Devora Wilde and her friend Grace's streams, "Lae'zel actress...". I get your point, but I'm betting they have new BG3 players stumbling into their content every day lol
So glad that you guys read the comments🥹🥹... I sometimes join the stream live but because it's usually like 2 am in Hong Kong, I fall asleep mid way so I catch up with the vods😅😅😅 Hope you are both doing great❤❤❤

Hi, Jen,
I'm Fiora.
"Absolute" best to you and Aliona,

Aliona, I loved your reaction to the squirrel carving at 32:12 It seemed like the perfect thing to make for you, and I think I was right. ❤

Been needing something more lighthearted to watch for a while and after discovering you guys earlier this month I can now happily say you are my comfort gays I watch to relax and de-stress. Keep up the awesome streams! 👻

I absolutely ADORE Jen's hat!!!!
"Embrace the Chaos".....100% words to live by. Its why I love your BG3 streams more than any others!
Just destroy the drum then you don't need to park at it. An air fire arrow, as long as u don't directly target a drum, doesn't aggro them
It's possible to one-shot Dror Ragzlin by shoving him into the chasm to the right of his throne.
Watching this episode, I idly sang "Down, down, down, by the river", only for you two to say "can you hear singing?"
Complete coincidence, but freaked me out, haha
I love these streams! They brighten up a gloomy winter Sunday❤
Embrace the chaos! I've been watching you two, Devora, and Neil play the game, and I love you all.
You guys are great! Thanks to both of you for your work in making this fantastic game!
Babe, wake up. Aliona and Jen just uploaded.
few here will get this: Jen at 26:42 is what Greg Weisman was thinking about while writting the War of the Spark: Forsaken novel. that's how i imagine Chandra Nalaar delivering the "decidely male" line lmao
Thanks for the shout out!! I love seeing that a new video is out!! Glad you’re having fun playing this! ❤
Aw man missed the stream but these VODs are also just as good 😄
You guys can stealth all the way up the rafters on the roof, and you can try to control the fight from up there! That's how I used to do it
You are doing great ladies, keep at it!
Awww I missed the live stream so just catching up!
Keep up!! you gurrrlllsss are doing greaaatt!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So beautiful to dedicate it to Ally ❤️🩹
Yesterday i realised i turned the whole goblin camp hostile and got very sad that i won't get to talk to spider mommy
I was there for the livestream but just came here to say I hope the birthday dinner was nice and that your mum didn't go full Minthara on you.😅
If I can offer some advice for the Dror Ragzlin battle: don't worry too much about which companions to bring, just make sure that any spellcasters have as many spells slots as possible or other ways to cast spells (since that's what they're best at). Good luck!
Also, happy birthday, mum!
Really enjoying this series! You're probably inundated with tips for the Dror Ragzlin fight right now, but I have a strategy that's never failed. I call it the Donkey Kong strategy:
That's what was happening in this video)
3. Save
4. Jen throws the invisibility potion to Halsin. Exit the Worg Pens.
5. Jen, Lae, Halsin starts turn-based mode. Use dash always. Use the ladder on the right, enter and exit Minthy's room, then enter the unlocked big door. Take your positions.
6. Save
I always get so excited to see a new stream! Thanks for making these- you both are awesome ❤
This is a great let's play experience :) Thanks for the excellent content.
Just a note on getting Halsin into the fight much more easily ... go back to camp and drop him from the party, then take the other 3 to where the big fight will be, then go back to camp and get Halsin.
Hopefully after BG3 you continue with streaming games!! Always look forward to these videos and the lives
Did you guys voice act that as well?🤣
Every lost battle is experience gained
You’ll only get better and better with time, overall you’re doing really really well now
Also - pls don’t forget to sell things like extra weapons and trinkets (don’t just store them in a chest), it’s a good idea to start accumulating money from the very start - there’s a “little” something that I think Aliona will want to splash out on in Act 3 and it’s not cheap
Potions of healing and invisibility are always a must-buy in my opinion, even if you have a lot of them already
As well as certain scrolls - like Scroll of Fireball for example - it’s extremely powerful and super useful when you need to strike multiple enemies at once
Thunderwave and Lightning bolt too…
Anyway :D
Sorry for the ramble and enjoy the game!
I hope A’s mother had a lovely birthday dinner! Looking forward to the next stream, whenever that is. And best to A’s sister from a fellow Boingohead.
I hope you guys stocked up on blackpowder barrels. Those came in really handy. Fireball scroll helps, too. Have Karlach handle the hobgoblin.

The ladder bit in the Dror Ragzlin fight was just perfection. Straight out of Mr. Bean or the Pink Panther 😄
I feel the need to apologize on behalf of Twitch chat, for the confusion and stress near the end of the stream. Everyone was trying to be helpful, but we each had different plans in mind and different game experiences. It's hard giving directions even if chat is on the same page, so in this stream it got kinda overwhelmed with conflicting info
thanks for saying that cause Jen definitely did get stressed but we know everyone is just trying to help and by gods we need it!
Oh dear, looks like that dialogue bug is still there, where you can mention Nere in relation to Moonrise Towers. At least, I think its a bug.

Look. I'm with Jen for being anti- tik tok and not liking reaction videos 100%. Don't feel pressured to do them.
she is far from anti tiktok omg she sends me so many!! im just trying to come up with a way for her to post her own tiktoks but take pressure off ie. reaction tiktoks to people who have made videos to her/about her!
@@JenandAliona Fair enough. You ladies do as you enjoy. 😁
That might perhaps be the one thing I'm not quite in sync with the younger crowd these days.
The random tidbits of behind the scenes info combined with manic unfocused energy is just
Dror Ragzlin? More like Dror...Jackasslin.
I don't like discord ( I just dont get it ) and I have never used twitch, No twitter, and barely know how to use Instagram. please leave comments open on the vids lol .
Wait they’re on part 16 and just now in the goblin camp?
Thank you for normalizing ADHD ❤
Is it necessary to list your profession in every post? Would Jen and Aliona not suffice?¹
Not everyone who comes across these will automatically know who is who. It’s not that big of a deal
