@@HexZero Yeah, that's really a shame. more than half the games that has been created can no longer be bought anywhere, it would sucks terribly to see them completely disappear
I play old games and enjoy older media because the new stuff is bland, uninspired and boring to me. Games aren't made for people like me anymore. I'm not part of the target audience they want anymore. So I play the games that WERE made for people like me. 1985 - 2020 is mostly the era I play games from. A few modern titles have my interest and are really good, but most of them are uninspired slop with no passion or creativity in them.
People can ignore these comments, it's just hard to do so. Sure, it sucks to read them, but it shouldn't stop you from having your own opinions and having fun! As for the streaming part, not everyone will chuck themselves into the first stream/video showcasing the game. Many people like me will play the game firsthand instead of watching someone else play (If anything, streaming is like a demon for the indecisive that just wants to see if the gameplay will interest them before deciding to buy it or not)
Yeah except in your classic scenario, that’s a disproportionate reaction to a single teenager’s offhanded comment - meanwhile we’re trying to have rational, fun discussions with dozens of “teenagers” saying this coming from all angles at all times.
Best thing about living in today is being able to enjoy literally thousands of years of preserved cilture.
Yes!
never take it for granted cause there are forces actively working against preservation

You guys sound like dads being annoyed by this teenager who said, "Nirvana is for boomers". Chillout.
