Congrats on an amazing effort! So glad the little ROV didn't get trapped down there. From the looks of if most of the stuff down there is possibly the wooden passageway flooring and stairs, combined with, yes, at least one steel door, and lumps of rock or concrete. Seems that everything was just dumped into the stair well to block it up. Maybe it was already partially flooded when they came to do the post-war clean up, and considering the location, probably thought it wasn't worth the effort. And yes, that did look like a helmet in the gloom, but probably just a rock. Love to get a decent pump up there to extract that water, and hoses to wash it all down in the process. Who knows what you'd find down there. Good to hear you're not giving up. Always love these challenges! Cheers guys! Stay Safe!

Well done my friend. Some of the wood down there is from the trench(hall) floor. You will find a low microbe content and very low oxygen content in the water, so the wood is basically preserved. Found similar setup in early mines that flooded. A bigger ROV to move the material (wood) or a very small ROV to go through the cracks and is disposable. EE, nice job. The 2 of you make a great team. Well done both of you. Stay safe and well out there.

You were wise not to try and go further. I know it was tempting! There has to be a smaller ROV that could make that dive. The movement and quality would suffer, but you could probably answer the question. The red color is the iron content of the water. Not surprising when you have all that stuff thrown down there.

(I work in a CNC machine shop and we had a very odd leak from one of our newer machines, it leaked oil and coolant and when wet it candy pink and when it dried a darker pink to red. I've been working here almost 16 years and I have never seen this color leak. It usually leaks the regular color of the oil. )

Is the earth in this area high on iron ore content? This will explain the red 'EVIL EYES' when it surfaced like a WW2 monster from a tomb. I was thinking I saw a skeleton in there but probaby not. The door on the left I think goes LEFT then DOWN to the lower level compared to other bunkers I have seen like this the other has been deliberately blocked or exploded to prevent anyone seeing whats inside. The only way is to take a diesel pump and drain in out! I bet theres something VERY special in theres. FANTASTIC. Your Rov needs and ULTRA BRIGHT LED fitting on it so you can see from the surface roughly where it is and not lose it. It is making me want to come over with my scuba kit and go down there! One idea to help you HH. Is to take a compass and work out the EXACT compass alignment of the bunker. Then possibly you can refer to the ROV's onboard compass to work out WHERE in the system it is and where to turn or dive?

At one point it looked like you had woken up the Bunker monster, with big red eyes🤪. The red water is strange, possibly due to that steel door rusting away, and water run off from the local area, especially if the soil has peat in it. Nevertheless, an amazing underwater explore, such a pity the hallway and stairs are blocked with boulders and wood, makes me wonder what they were trying to hide. Happy that you have the gas monitor with you, especially after the trouble you had last year from bunker air. Thanks for sharing this with us, stay safe and well my friends.

this is the best video yet that you have produced. Your editing and storytelling skills are starting to really shine. Perhaps a bit too many staged product placements. Make them appear natural as you are composing your scenes. It’s heartwarming to see the interactions between you and Eagle eyes. It’s obvious you are teaching him some of the skills learned in the Navy. The skills learned working as a sonarman. I also have enjoy watching the way you and your son interact. 😮 it’sreminiscent of two guys having fun learning a new device. This was your absolute best video to date!!!

The terrain did look quite steep. Like the backpacks. Really smart idea checking the air quality and wearing a mask in those damp enclosed areas. The path and staircase did look narrow. The view from the Fifish V-Evo was pretty good considering how cloudy the water was. It did look scary with the red tinge. We were able to see a few items of interest. Thanks for taking us inside that bunker EE & HH.❤❤
