French Apple Cake

Ingredients
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 stick of unsalted butter at room temperature
2/3 cups of granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 tablespoons of milk or apple juice
2 medium granny smith apples ( you can use any other apple you like)
