Because James May is actually the coolest one of the bunch and has interests in things. Everything is interesting when you look into. You just have to have the intelligence and imagination to understand it. His character i mean, none of these people reflect their actual real life personalities. But if they did May is definitely the one I would rather hang out with.
I don't know, I haven't seen it any have no interest in seeing it. I suspect that its not shite, it's an okay TV show, as far as TV shows go. But it's not Top Gear and I don't care to watch it, because these are the guys I come to see. If I watched TV and if I wasn't already spoiled by these guys I would probably have no issue with present Top Gear. It can't be worse then the dumb reality shows they play on most networks. If I had to choose one I would choose new Top Gear, but I don't have to chose, I can just watch the old stuff. Although I hear it also depends on the season, they got worse and then got better.

That's why you can go buy a used luxury car for the same price as a new Toyota. Because you are mostly paying for the badge. And you will go bankrupt trying to keep it running. That's why you can't take anything they say too seriously. The most important thing is to make it entertaining, that's all they care about.
