Formed in 1923, the County of Los Angeles Fire Department is an organization steeped in history and rich in tradition. This short documentary provides an overview of the events, innovations, and individuals who helped shape this premier fire agency over the years.
Thanks to the vision and support of then-County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, the 1960s paved the way toward the building of a world-class fire department-based paramedic program at the County of Los Angeles Fire Department.
