Hello, I was following the instructions from the video, but there's an issue with the "WP Reset" plugin: the free version deletes all the data, including pages, posts, comments, and media. This forces the purchase of the PRO version. Are there any alternatives? It seems strange to me that OceanWP offers "pro demos" but then users are required to purchase an external plugin to use them... Thank you very much.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! The features you're describing used to belong to a different plugin called WP Database Reset (same plugin author as WP Reset), so they must have made some changes recently and merged features into a single plugin. We'll definitely take a look but when it comes to website templates, we've always advised caution because it's sample content and recommended using the WP Database Reset plugin to start fresh and not mix the new and old website content. You don't have to use any pro plugins to use the templates. You can simply use our Customizer Reset option via OceanWP > OceanWP Panel > Customizer, and you can delete all pages manually (and blog posts and other content). Likewise, you can disable the plugins you don't need. In essence, it'll take the same time as it took to reset the WP instance (not the entire database), it just requires a few more clicks than usual. Does this help?
Hi. I have ocean wp website already with various pages and posts. I want some pages with an e-commerce product layout out for affiliate shopping to another website. If I add a ocean wp template, will it over write my website layout. Am I better just importing a block. I just want the product columns bride. Do blocked exist?
Hi and thanks for using OceanWP if you already have an established website and you're using WooCommerce for your affiliate products, then you might want to check all customization options via Customize > WooCommerce. Importing a new template over an existing website will definitely shift things around because templates are WordPress content. In that case, it's best to do it via a test or a staging site or a localhost. Once you're done with the redesign, just push the changes to your live website. Demos are pre-built WordPress content, so it means you can edit pages directly through pages option and additional content based on the demo you chose, like Portfolio which is a CPT, blog posts, etc. You can style the theme itself (colors, typography, header style, page layouts, blog layouts) from the Customizer directly: Appearance > Customize. If you have a specific question, since you are a premium customer, you can always shoot our support a direct email (find it in your purchase receipt) and they'll guide you through everything

If you're a client, you can always submit a ticket especially since we're not using YT to provide support due to its limitations. In general, if the process takes more than 5 to 10 minutes, you should interrupt it and start over (sometimes there are temp server issues on yours or our end which can cause the process to get stuck, sometimes it's something else, like your import size limitations, etc etc)
