Hi, it's hot pressed water colour paper. Yes...you can use but it's better to use high GSM papers for best results

@NusratJahan-100 Hi there, you can specifically purchase pastel papers. However, I read from 1 of his other videos that he uses hot pressed watercolor paper. Hope this helps.
