One of the greatest games I've ever played. It's not a hard game, as mentioned, but it's beautiful. Especially for folks like me, who prefer getting away from society and being isolated. The music was outstanding. The story is very good, not out of this world, but it's good. Highly recommend to this gem.

Found this game by chance on the Xbox store, read the first reviews and they were glowing. Agree with the criticisms you mentioned, but still very happy with the game
While I am intrigued by the story, I'd mostly want to buy this for the ocean exploration and being surrounded by wildlife, and taking pictures of animals. Would you say that it's still worth picking up at that point? I got excited when I saw the trailer because it reminded me of Beyond Blue, but I have a feeling it's not like that. Great review!

Did they ever fix the mouth sync issue? I've heard this from several reviews. I'd be interested in getting it but that would completely throw the game off for me.
Last time I checked, no. His face is actually obstructed in a number of cutscenes. Even when you get toward the end so it's not as distracting.

I think it's intentional and not an issue. It plays the French lip sync animation for other languages as well. So it's meant to look like a dubbed movie.
A game in third person emulating poor lip sync on purpose? Why would any game have that as a feature? I mean, it would be funny if it was a comedy. This isn't a game that is about comedy. More likely, they just kept the facial animation as is to save money.
So, the game shows great potential, but only a sequel would put that potential INTO the game. Got it. Thanks for the review. 🤔
