There is a mistake in your comments! The camera doesn't record in ProRes, it's S-Log 3 for 10 Bit 422.

I’ve heard good things about the a6700. Quite honestly, over heating only really happens in extreme circumstances. Otherwise, I’m quite confident you won’t have issues.
