Do you guys realize that Disney had plenty of opportunities to release “Make Mine Music” for home viewing for almost the previous 20 years up to this point? The meat of the segments thankfully were, in fact more so than Melody Time before its release to video. The 2000 VHS is a sloppily edited version of the film that was basically tantamount to an 81 minute edit of Fantasia from 1942. The general public overlooked the movie as a result. The video release of Make Mine Music was also not a bestseller. During the golden age of home video, Warner bros. had more will power to own up to creating controversial content. Daffy Duck whacking Hitler on the head with a mallet. To my knowledge, Disney did not release the Oscar winning “Der Fuhrer’s Face” for home viewing (well not until 2004, again that’s pretty late) Even at this point, Disney still doesn’t have the will power.

The blu-ray is finally out, but the Martins and the Coys still got shat on. When will they learn to stop censoring history?
now available to own on video & dvd
Confusion to the film's opening, because I thought it was from Walt Disney Pictures.
Well?
"Edited for content" on VHS, because All the Cats Join In.
Also, The Martins and the Coys, too.
What happens there?
nope
Why was the screen credit for The King's Men blacked out?
Because, The Martins and the Coys segment is removed on its home video release.
I’ll try to get that VHS tape soon.
Censored? If i were you, i’d wait till November 2nd.
