I highly doubt Go 3's 2.7K can match the image quality of DJI Action 4 or Gopro 12... Been looking into these modular cams to add to my gears, but after seeing the white balance not adjusting properly at 3:05, I will hold on for now. Free diving with Action 4 white balance is perfect 👌
I have been trying to choose between the Go 3 and the x3 for my first travel camera. I could not locate the video about using the dive case, is it online already ? My biggest concern as a beginner is 'framing' which is why the x3 sounds nice despite the additional 'setup'/accessories needed etc.
It’s soon ready, it will be in my travel comparison with the gopro 12 and action 4👍 should be up by friday or monday. Framing is the easiest. You have an option to use “direction lock” which basically keeps it in one position like a normal action camera. Framing is really easy too, but at first it might be overwhelming, then after a few mintues testing stuff its gonna be more fun that the static straight forward shot. I do LOVE the go 3 tho 😬😬 X3 is still on a different level

So yup waiting for it and hopefully next week I can finally make a decision 😅 (main uses gonna be hikes (Trip to Nepal!), diving and travel short videos)

I am on board, almost the same way. I have two GO2's, one for POV and the other for tripod/stick. A pocket 2 for a couple things the little cameras can't do. And a 1080p Sony camcorder for zoom shots. Traveling is fun!
@RobHK I love the Go3 but maybe you can help me.When I have the charging pod in my back pocket and the camera on the magnetic pendant after a while when I press the camera on it doesn't go on and sometimes when it goes on it flashes read but doesn't record or sometimes a blue light comes on and on the charging pod it says not connected..it's so frustrating as I use it on my bicycle so don't know if it's recording with the pod being in my back pocket..can you help

I want to get a go3s to use for filming inside malls, restaurants, grocery stores and shops. Do you think that kind of light would look ok with this cam?
Have you had any problems recording in colder temperatures? I use my camera to record my dog working sheep, clips are about 12 minutes long. I put the camera in the pod after each run. Excellent information, thanks so much for sharing.
I think the jittering comes from stabilization algorithm with low shutter speed under low light, not white balance. White balance only changes color, not movement...

I'm done with GoPro. I only use Go 3 and Pocket 2. Currently trying to sell my GoPro 11 to fund a Pocket 3.

No i haven´t just got 30cm of snow and -1 degrees, so winter is coming. Will continue my testing! Thanks again😀

The Go3 can't create the invisible stick effect. You need the Insta360 X3 or X4
Can you get 5hours of continuous video recording with the 128GB?
nope the GO 3 outside the pod maybe 30-40 minutes before it needs to be recharged and it will get very hot!
