One of my favourite and personally important classics in GT7. The highlight aspect for me is easily the gear shifting sound, it has a massive chunkiness to it. It also feels much faster than the horsepower suggests, I felt like I was flying round the Nordschleife.
1:49 I know that guy on the right. As the race began, the track marshal quickly sprung into action, waving the green flag to signal the start. With a watchful eye, they carefully monitored the race from the sidelines, ready to respond to any incidents and keep the drivers and spectators safe.
One of my favourite cars of all time - an absolutely stunning looker, and just as impressive mechanically - from what I recall this was basically a race car in street car clothing. The type of power and torque per liter from that N/A six was not far off what was considered typical even just 10 or 15 years ago. Cool interior too. I had a die cast model of one of these when I was like 8 years old and it was always one of my absolute favourites.
Well, giving that the 300SL was the first car I have driven in an online league on GT5, it will always be special for me. And one thing that GT7 does very well, is the feeling of classic legends. So this is a must have for me.
This car, since it appeared in GT4 has always been overpriced & surprisingly well to drive (especially in GT4). One of a few high rollers I actually bought. The looks are a great bonus as well.
So I've got both versions of the 300 SL in the game yes I own the 20 mil one and what you said about there's no real point in getting the Gull-wing made a lot of sense and reason why is that they have nowhere to really race them hell we have a near full grid of 1950's racing spec sports cars and no race to race them so it goes they go into a weird niche of either Gr. X or low PP tier of racing I will say one thing about the the 300 SL Gull-wing is that it's a hell of alot better than the 20 mil le man car from two years before and think about that if you had the money you could go the Mercedes and buy a road car better than the car that won at Le mans two years before name another car company that could have done that in the 1950's!!!!

An absolute legend! Both in game and real life! I absolutely love this car! 😊👍
My childhood arcade mode car from gt4 I remember driving it all the time glad to see its return in 7
A fender tap on a Gullwing?! Egad.

the 300slr Ulenhaut actually shares very little with the 300sl and is much more closely related to the w196 formula 1 car
Literally the first car I’m buying. 🔥

I really liked using this on the mercedes driving school in gt5. It wasn't looney or a barge which is 2 categories most classics fall into for me.
Absolutely Beautiful Car, love where the aesthetics can almost tell their own story!
Rwcing this on vr2 was awesome!
I purchased this car as a Mercedes fan boy but have yet to use it for any races. Just cruising which is nice if you have the credits.
I remember seeing this car tdu2 and GT6💕💓

Ah, nice review. I love the car. In real live and in the game

This car has swing up doors does it?
Gullwing doors as they're called, but yes.
The coolest doors ever made for an automobile!
Great video my baba
Thanks baba 😘
