For Turbo and Supersonic plan users it is much easy to do and for starter plan users you will have to follow some more extra steps.

I got tired of trying to find one that will stick around permanently, so sslforfree's 90-day one will work fine. I'll just have to regenerate it periodically.
It was even easier than you mentioned in the tutorial - they just verified my email, generated a certificate, and I pasted it into EasyWP's custom SSL option
December 2022, and your video saved me from a lot of stress.
The SSLFORFREE interface has changed slightly.
The folder is now "/.well-know/pki-validation/"
Also, you can only download the SSL files, open them on your computer with notepad then copy/paste the content to their respective EasyWP text area.

Even after two days my site is showing no ssl and when I asked namecheap support they asked me to change the settings. First they asked to keep the record proxied and ssl to strict.
Still nothing happened.

7:45 -- there will be no problem in performing the DNS-based verification. DNS verification basically requires that you create a specific record and the TTL does not matter in case -- the validator only cares for the host and value of the said record. As long as the values are right and the record is online -- you can trigger verification manually and the system will issue certificate no matter what the record's TTL is.
Its a old video so I don't remember exact details but there must be some issue or it failed in my trial before making the video.
The DNS-based verification doesn't work anymore for some reason I can't figure.
@@Henjaification Hey! Hope the is issue is solved already, but if not, check back your CNAME record and make sure that its "Host" section does not have the domain name included. The system appends the domain automatically there, so if you explicitly add it there yourself, the resulting record will be not what the Certification Authority wants to see.

My personal experience with them is not so pleasant.
Not good. You must trust a third party for this. Very dangerous if your data is sensitive. A lot of hosters are providing LetsEncrypt free out of the box. Don't use NameCheap!!
