I think you need look at Doug and Nick differently. Doug called the plays Nick does not. He was exposed last season without Gannon and Shane. Dougs biggest issues is our teams couldn’t stay healthy. Then he wouldn’t back down when he wanted to hire his own OC and DC. Still sad he’s gone. Nick only time will tell. He has 2 strong coordinators again so hard to tell.

Nick had a top 10 offense in 2022 and 2023. Sure different playcallers, but it was his offense. The Kellen Moore hiring seems to be a Jeffrey Lurie suggestion. He did this to Doug Peterson too. Remember bringing in Rick Scangerello from the 9ers to add more motion and misdirection? They fired Doug because he stood his ground, Nick seems to be more open to taking orders from the impatient owner. Just my 2 cents.
