I’ve loaded mine in the hardest way possible for about a year before thinking “I’ll bet this professional Milwaukee trimmer isn’t designed to be this hard to load”
@@ChrisBenceafter the first time of loading it the most difficult way possible I thought to myself “there is no way that this is the only way to do it” lmao
The head is easy to reload. But what if you still have 10 feet of string in the head and it breaks off just inside the holes? Happened twice yesterday. How do you get it back out? Seems like the only solution is to completely unwind the string and start over. That's a hassle.
Well I'm not a man I'm a woman and I love RUclips videos. I had to learn on my own how to restring my weed eater and since no one was around I looked up the video. Thank you for making this video.
I got the ryobi brushless one and it’s easy to use and install the string trimmer and it’s powerful too and I have a lot of 4ah batteries so I’m good this one looks awesome as well
No… you feed one end through the little hole in the weed eater & out the other side, so it goes all the way through. Pull it through so both sides are equal length, then turn the center cap of the weed eater string container to wind the string in. Hope this helps!
This design is garbage. It makes initial loading “easier,” though I don’t think it actually is. But it gets tangled inside causing the string to break inside, then it’s impossible to fix without starting over.
Loading this trimmer is extremely simple! SO simple that one has to give up and go inside and watch a video on how to load it.

Twice and even then it's not clear . F it. Went back to an Echo Gas
Glad to see I'm not the only hard headed man that spent 30 min refusing to admit defeat
Mate, I was about ready to smash it to pieces before I watched this video 😂
Guilty 🤬
No surrender!
Oh I took it apart and tried to wind it like the old school trimmers. Like several times.
Me as well
That is some extreme music for restringing a weed eater...
Apparently, landscapers are also headbangers.
Love it though
😂
As it should be
Should have used seek and destroy!
Holy sheet, I've been loading this thing the hard way for 2 years...
This is excellent, as loading line on normal trimmer heads is a PITA sometimes. Glad to see Milwaukee simplifying this task!
yea i love old style too ..really simple as well
Somebody was definitely thinking when they came up with this! Thanks for the video!!
Thanks for the video. I lost the manual and was out there fighting this thing for a good half hour.
Likewise
Yep 😅
Same here
I tried doing it the hard way for the last fucking hour. Lucky I watched this
Thanks for posting, Bossman. It really helped.
ive had this tool for about a year now aand never realized it was that easy. I was doing the hard way every saturday.
Same here. Lol. 🤦🏻♂️
I couldn't figure out how to load it what is the hard way
Fml! Knowing the times we live in why didn’t I just watch this video 30 minutes ago! 😤
I NEEDED THIS JUST NOW!!! THX!!!❤
How do I pull out some string when it's battered? Or do I have to remove all the strong and reload it?
you bump it on the grass a couple times and it will unspool.
How to I get the wire to come out once it gets to short?
Does the string unwind a fraction of an inch each time it's turned on like the Ryobi models or is it bump type?
+Dr.Quinn Maintenance Man bump
Hey Boss, looks good brother!!! Thanks for the video
+chipshot442 you got it. 👊
I use Oregon Magnum Gatorline .095 in this.....The best string in the best trimmer.....this line is tough as nails and won't break on you
I got online to order this and it’s apparently discontinued. Any ideas why?!?
New easy feed came out

I will have video up in next couple days on this Fred
Did you ever get that video
@@jaygee78Nope. The issue hasn't happened again since I started using a heavier line.
What size line do you use?
.8
The end of mines different..and not easy to turn. Looks like it pops off,but it doesn't want to.
My cap doesnt do that on my m18 fuel. The whole rotating assembly spins if i turn it. Theres a button in the middle.

Awesome video 👍🏼 anyone else change up the string, like go with a different brand?
I can't get the string to load. Any ID what is wrong?
Literally just walked in from a quick 20 minute weed walking session. Bull shit up to 1 hour😂
Seriously...the smaller batteries don't last long at all out here in the boonies with tall weeds to whack.
@@spudbono5747 yes sir. This electronic craps for house wives with nothing to do. I need that sthl in my life brother
Damn I wish I found this sooner. I broke the little piece that locked it in 😢
Doesn’t really show you how. Do you cut the three wingspans in half?
No… you feed one end through the little hole in the weed eater & out the other side, so it goes all the way through. Pull it through so both sides are equal length, then turn the center cap of the weed eater string container to wind the string in. Hope this helps!
The string never goes throw always take 15 minutes to load.
It's not easy.
How do you remove the string holder cup
Squeeze the indents on the side
How do you unwind the string?
Pop head off by pushing in 2 side tabs
I will admit I've been choosing misery and loading the hard way for about 3 years now.
I feel stupid I been trying to load it normally and been having a impossible time. It try this method
It's not clear how feeding a line into one hole magically causes line to emerge from both.
I had a slight issue with getting it through the second. I just popped the top slightly to be able to grab the other side and feed it through
Been loading mine wrong the entire time 🤦🏽♂️
love milwaukee
oh yeaaa!!!
I can't belive how good the entire system is. Ridiculous
How much are they.
the new trimmer heads be out in january , not sure if announced price yet
nice it looks way better then dewalts
Awesome. Thanks
One helpful detail left out of the video: Align and then push the string from one side through to the other until it’s equal length before winding.
They mention this.
@@chrisstromberg6527He didn’t watch the video.
Super !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Works in 2024
Oh yea !!
That head don't turn near as easy as that cat makes it look'
Ok thanks Boss.
👍👍
I knew this wasn’t a POS! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
well... that's just too easy.
BS.... as soon as they're too short... have to unload and do all over again.
Copied video from the Milwaukee site. Can’t you make your own content?
unbelievably annoying music in the background. so lame.
tOO BAD THE BUMP HEAD IS FUCKING USELESS.
This design is garbage. It makes initial loading “easier,” though I don’t think it actually is. But it gets tangled inside causing the string to break inside, then it’s impossible to fix without starting over.
That's never been my experience after 4 years of owning a Milwaukee string trimmer with this same feature. You may be doing it wrong.
Isn’t this design based off of the echo speedfeed head, which is used by countless commercial landscapers?
I initially refused its this easy
