For everyone saying they want a bird after watching this video, consider doing a LOT and I mean A LOT of research before doing so because most of the time birds are like having a 2 year old toddler for the rest of your lives and they require a lot of attention and all that.
For the past couple months I've been doing a ton of research regarding having and taking on the responsibility of having a pet bird. I've studied all the various ailments birds suffer from, how to recognise and treat it, of course I take it to the vet. A few years ago I ended up in a wheelchair and live alone, for practical reasons a cat or dog was out of the question, but a bird will be a great companion. I never knew how intelligent they were, in fact when I first watched these video's I couldn't believe it really was the birds talking and singing, it totally blew me away!
Yes I’m very well educated on taking care of parrots and I don’t like to see comments like “I want a bird now” or “I need a bird now” because then birds get put into bad homes where people don’t have a more than general knowledge of how to take care of a bird I mean there is SO MUCH you need to know and doing you research is not something that should be skipped in wanting to own a parrot most people shouldn’t even own parrots
Spark of Insanity [Sparky-P] Also, people should know that birds can get bonded together like mine are, so when one dies, the other one has to go too. When one’s soulmate dies, they’ll stop eating, drinking and just let themselves go. It’s better to put both the birds down at once
