@@kathleenmaeandaya7305 Hello, sorry if this is a double send. I thought I replied to this already. I can only speak from my own experience in WA state. I got my license officially endorsed in about 2 months time after completing and sending my application. In my state's BON website they have a directory where you can find what month of received applications they are currently processing. I'm not sure if your BON has the same but I'm certain it should be there.

what about the transcript of records? did you send them directly to the Board of Nursing or did you still have it evaluated by someone like CGFNS.
Hi Kate! I'm currently on the process of doing License Endorsement to the State of Washington. I'm just troubled because Washington State DOH still required my Nursing Transcripts to be physically couriered even though I have obtained a CGFNS CES Report.
Did you follow the DOH instructions to you to send to them via courier?

However, Getting nursing licenc in NY is much easier and faster. (becasue candidtates can approch directly to NY board, not CGFNS now)
So, I am planning to take an exam in NY and endoese to Texas later.

1. Did they use the speaker/headset for listening?
2. Are they use paper/computer for reading and writing?

1. They used a speaker. No headset. It was clear enough though and they would do a sound check prior to the exam to make sure everybody can hear it very clearly.
2. Reading & Writing - we used paper & pencil.

Hi Kate! I am hoping to get more info regarding my situation. I passed my nclex exam in October last year, 2021. It was with the Florida Board of Nursing, and they do not give you a license unless you have your ssn which I do not have. Currently, plans have changed and will not be going to Florida anymore. Is there a way for my nclex to be endorsed to another state so that I can have a license? I’d really appreciate it if you could point me to the right direction. Thank you and have a good one!

Can you start this process before you move to your new state of residency or do you need to be a resident of the new state?
Residency in the new state is not part of the requirements so you can start it even before moving. For the state of WA, it says "If you have an out-of-state address on your application, you are required to complete an FBI fingerprint background check (not out of country). The FBI charges a fee for the background check."

Applicants who received their nursing education in another country are required to have a credentials review by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) and an examination of English proficiency. For applicants by endorsement, who have been licensed in another United States jurisdiction, those requirements may have already been met as qualification for licensure in the other jurisdiction. Therefore, it may be unnecessarily burdensome and create delays in licensure to repeat the credentials review and test of English proficiency. Verification from the jurisdiction that the qualification has been met is necessary.

I took the NCLEX 4yrs after arrival in the US, so I already have my SSN for a while before I took the NCLEX which I used in my application.

It will remain active only if you keep renewing it (provided you comply with the renewal requirements), otherwise, it will expire based on its expiration date.

What is the IELTS score required in Washington for RN?
Passing RN scores: 6.5 (overall) with a score of at least 6.0 in listening, reading, writing, speaking.

Hi! If you check the link I shared in the description box, I see NJ has partial implementation and NY has no action. Both states have to be NLC states for you to use your license either way. In short, I don't think you can work in NJ with NY license nor vice versa as of this writing.
Hi Kate, I am also applying to Washington via endorsement from Minnesota. My Nursing education was from CANADA. Did you have to have a CES report done? It says that on the application form that "all applicants who graduated from nursing schools outside the US must submit their transcript for a course by course evaluation by one of the following nursing commission approved services providers".
I was just wondering if you selected yes or no for that section seeing how you also applied via endorsement and was educated outside of US.

If I'm not mistaken, you're talking about "Exam Applicants" requirements. That section does not apply to you if you're applying for license endorsement. Check out the link I added in the description (WA RN or LPN Endorsement Licensure Requirements)
Also, I did not request for CES report because it says "Please do not submit these unless requested."
If the WA nursing commission is able to verify your credentials from your initial state of licensure, they won't need CES anymore.
