We used Malarkey Shingles + "Grace Brand" Ice & Water shield. AND we're confident our roof will perform well for 40+ years (& likely 50+ years). AND, let me tell ya. I researched shingles for a long time after GAF allowed a roofer to claim he was certified by them but wasn't & then ruined our first roof. So, we had to be sure our 2nd roof would perform well. THANK YOU Malarkey!!!!!!!! We sleep well and never worry about repairing our roof.
One of the most important aspects of a roof replacement is the quality of the company installers and ensuring proper control of the process is in place. Most often, it's not the shingles that failed, it's usually the quality of the roof replacement installation. Both brands of shingles are a great choice!
Sold my first malarkey vista job and i didn’t like how they came from ABC they had dirt residue and the ridge flex bundles had a few where the common bond were stuck already so we had a lot of damaged shingles.
@@ChicagoRoofer I definitely will let them know i have pictures of it as well. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Malarkey it just wasn’t a good first experience with them. Thank you!

Did you let Malarkey Rep know? Some suppliers know better. Reach out to your rep, maybe they can help.

And then take the used shingles and grind them up to be incorporated into asphalt for roadways.
That's a good thing I believe
How do polymer modified shingles compare verses traditional asphalt shingles in the brutal Phoenix, AZ heat?
Asphalt will dry out and fail more rapidly. Polymer modified should last longer
@@ChicagoRoofer maybe. Rubber put out in the sun doesn't seem to last in AZ though.
