This song…really HAUNTS me alive, I can’t rethink any besides feeling gut-ranching and emotional breakdown. I love these guys and this song will be forever my legacy. ❤️🔥😭🤘🏼☠️
Wow. Saw this band in a random recommend thread on Reddit. Was looking for something similar to Agalloch. This is incredible. It's rare to find something so good. Probably shouldn't have listened to the closer of an album first but oh well. The Iron Horse is incredible too.
Interesting choice of a song to release before the record. It has a morose, sprawling, western feel to it. That bridge/outro seven plus minutes in is a swirling cathartic release.
Opening riff like a ticking timebomb and absolutely chilling lyrics. Wayfarer was always good but I feel like this is gonna be the album to make people sit up and take notice.
People already sat up and took notice when they released World's Blood. If this track is any indication, this album won't come anywhere near being as good as their previous one.
I love how you can be clicking about on youtube, hear an absolute banger, check and yep ... 'uploaded by Profound Lore Records'. Their talent scouts are off the chain.
Lyrics: I've seen me that traveling band, for that love they bled I've seen me that rider, of crimson and lead I've seen that iron horse, rolling the plains Seen a man cross in it's way, and never again Behold the great picture show, the immortal dance Our heroes are all killers - and it's gold they romance I'll be that masked man a glory to see I'll kill me a hundred men, so you'll remember me All parts have been played on the stage The raucous, faux-elеgant wake The gunfighters dancing in circlеs Seduced by the fear they create Chaos in black and white! Cheers erupt as another man falls In each young man's eye, a fire is lit He too could be the most savage of all I wait for the show to come back Holding out, to see that magic once again I wait, while the water comes down Will I ever see the end? I see them, nights - in my dreams The riders of crimson and lead They turn their rifles on me - Please sing my song when I'm dead Where is the dream? Where is the world that was promised? Where is romance? When did it give way to rape? Who wears the masks? Who do the gunslingers ride for? Where is the dream? Bleeding, discarded, thrown from the tracks Where is the dream??
I think they've done a great job with how they've transitioned. It matches the mood and emotion of the music. It's definitely not out of place. And I thought they had some of the best "black metal" style vocals out there. This album as a whole is damn near perfect. Whether it's what people were expecting or not. There's a common theme and emotion through out the whole thing and they stick true to it start to finish. Fucking awesome
The drumwork on this track is absolutely phenomenal.
How about that monstrous bass?
All their songs are just perfection and we can clearly see that the quality is being kept.

One of my favourite tracks of pandemic year. Great southern moods album. Black metal meets western music

@libertydefined31 Winter is a near perfect album

Cathartic can't even describe it. It's truly something else.

Ahh, Denver metal scene, I love you. So proud of my city!! This is amazing!!
Absolutely mind-blowing.
masterpiece....
We love your sound!!
Love this. I want to hear someone play mouth harp with this.
Love this album!!!
So Different then the old stuff. I really like it though.
Awesome band and song. I will playing AOE 3 DE and listening to this album since they come about a day apart from each other. Sick.
Feels like blood meridian
Not a fan of the clean vocals at all. They ruined what could have been a great track.
I think it fits very well with the softer moments. Very Opeth-y soft moments.

I think they're actually better than the harsh vocals
