I actually went to this camp in 82-85. I had so much fun there...still remember the camp song I think, the scavenger hunt, the last dance the day before we went home. My last year I finally got to stay in the house in the hill...hated the rocks though. I remember the lil beach pond/ pool and those darn hores flies!!!!!!!!!...lol I want my daughter to experience it this year...best time I ever had as a kid.
They drained the lake to repair the dam , the spillway and the emergency drain valve. This video was taken with a JVC -C camera at Camp Tecumseh in Pittstown NJ. The kettle in the middle of the lake was sunk there by the 3 Program staff members who thought it would be fun to live out a nursery rhyme. The kettle is 6 feet round and the lake is over 50 feet deep.
